15 YEARS. 🎉

Swipe to see the evolution of our dance floor—from a disused furniture and computer shop in the middle of one of the UK’s most iconic market streets to what it became. 🪩

In 2011, we opened with one beer, one cocktail (ginger mojito, naturally 🍹), and absolutely zero clue what we were doing.

Oh, and coffee. ☕ We opened at 6am selling coffee while waiting for our alcohol license. Over 3 months, we sold about 100 cups—90% of them to my partner who’d show up 3 times a day and take them back to his colleagues. But those early mornings? They gave us something priceless: friendships with the market traders we still buy from today.

Like Pete, our main supplier, who after 65 years running his stall (he started weekends at 12 years old), retired but still keeps us as his only customer. Just so he has an excuse to visit the market every week. This place has always been about connection. 💛

We converted this space, got planning, licensing, fit-out, soundsystem, insurance, fire extinguishers, building deposit, and everything needed to open a bar for less than £20k. You don’t do that alone. The support from our community, from and press who believed in us from day one, from the market traders who became family—it meant everything.

15 years later, we’re still here because of you. The team who’ve poured their hearts into this place. The crowd that makes this the best bar in London—because you show up and bring the energy that makes it special. ✨
