June = Pride Month at The Gayhound! This one’s for the theys & the g**s.

We’re gonna need a bigger boat soon with the amount of knees-up energy squeezing into the boozer this month… so strap in (or up?)

As always: pints under a fiver every day, happy hour 5-9pm, £10 pizza + pint every Thursday. Upstairs stays busy, downstairs gets busy, the whole place behaves like it’s got something to prove.

We’ve also got DJs and events running all month across both floors, plus all the big World Cup games on the screens with pre, during and post-match chaos to match. Come for the football, stay because you forgot what time it is.

Tables are already disappearing fast, book ahead or risk becoming part of the standing furniture.

The bank holiday party is over, from GALA to The Greyhound, whoever did the festival and stayed for the entire afters you’re the MVP. Attendees stumbled through the door, downed cold pints, sweated out the dance floor, hugged in the smokers, and DMCed all the way home in the early hours of the morning. The DJs kept the night spinning, and the staff kept the ravers hydrated and ENERGISED🫡. Patio Pizza worked through the night making sure no raver went hungry. A big thank you to the DJs for the beats that had the crowd kicking their feet, thank you to the crew for keeping the energy each night, and patio’s for keeping our guts deliciously filled. We could kiss you all but we’re afraid Marcus might get there first!

The Prem’s wrapped up, all the reds pretend not to be nervous for Saturday and we are all questioning the England team sheet, right??? Either way, we’re showing every England game at The Greyhound during the 2026 World Cup and making a right old occasion of it. Big screens on, DJs warming things up before kick-off, tunes after the final whistle, pints flying, pizzas keeping the troops alive through extra time.

Whether it’s glory cheers out the beer garden or Dave in the corner shouting “games gone” because someone’s scored form a corner againnnn… we’ll all be there together losing our heads at the telly. Tables are limited, so get your lot organised and book now via the bioo xx

The bank holiday is approaching and the hounds are OUT. The party won’t stop here though…

Instead of wondering the streets looking for the afters, wonder down to the Greyhound and keep those knees UP!

Expect heavy tunes and ice-cold bevs in the after-hours of GALA all weekend. If you think you’ve got it in ya then we’ll see you this weekend for an absolute boozer. The Greyhound basement is going to be hotter than your vest tan lines, so you better pack some serious sunblock for this scorcher. We got plenty of crisp, cool beers to ease those burns🍻

Down for some runs thennnn? And no we’re not talking no quick trips to the bog and back, we mean actual running. We’ve been knockin’ around the idea of starting a Greyhound Run Club, a little jog round South London followed by a well-earned pint back at the pub. Call it cardio for carbs. Balance you seeee.

Question is, who’s up for it? More importantly… is there anyone out there who reckons they’ve got the legs to run the run club? Someone to lead the pack while the rest of us wheeze behind pretending we “usually do 5k”.

Whether you’re a proper pavement pounder, a park lap legend, give us a shout. Could be the healthiest thing The Greyhound’s ever done. Which admittedly isn’t saying much…

Aren’t they just a slice of heeavaaaan (and Marcus is great to…) We’re back open today with plenty of pub grub on offer. Patio gang is in kitchen all week as always, sun has just peeped out from the sh*te weather and Pub Quiz is back on tonight!!! Tell us, how could it get any bettteerrrr?

Want a margarita? Well you can av one for £6 on happy hour. 4pm-9pm, a nice 5 hours of cheap drinks, did someone say date night?

Happy hour is everrrrry day with cheap cocktails and even cheaper pints, we all need a break from the cost of livvy so come to the hound for a hoot and a hah.

Happy thirsty Thursday to all! Keg delivery has quenched us to say the least. Think we might be fully stocked and prepped for the weekend, if we don’t demolish all this tonight, paired with a pizza for a tenner ;) if you fancy something abit spicier (no I’m not talking about him^) we got £6 margs at the ready so get it down ya.

Book a table or walk in for the best pizza in Peckham, the finest ales, the tastiest cocktails, and the sexiest staff. Oi oiiiii

We were so close! So close to summer vibes and tank top tanlines. What an absolutely TEAZE! No stress now lads and ladies, here at the greyhound the temperature is always high (and kept cool with an aircon). Smokers are open till 10, basement is bouncing till late, shots, cocktails and pints are FLOWING. pizza while you quiz, margs while you catch up, and tequila to break the ice into some insane moves on the floor.

We make our own summer, who’s bringing the fake tan?

Communion commenced this past Sunday. When JC says dance we do without hesitation. Mosh pits shaking the venue in tune with the clanging of metal from belts, boots and studded jackets. All bands/disciples shook the roof off the hound, thanks to everyone that came for a knees up and jump around
