Since opening its doors in September 2003, the Capontes family has built one of Hampton’s most popular restaurants. Based on a winning combination of delicious affordable food, friendly knowledgeable staff and the owners’ attention to detail and ambiance. Previously known as Joe’s; the Capontes family have decided to relaunch their restaurant under a new name that reflects their personal and culinary believes, offering patrons the classic menu with a fresh new Mediterranean look and an exciting new tapas menu, all in a relaxed atmosphere. La Familia as the name describes it is a family restaurant located in Hampton Hill, close to the famous Hampton Court Palace. The proprietors Humberto & Paulo, an uncle and nephew team, originally from Madeira; are both well qualified in the restaurant business, with 30 years experience between them. Humberto and Paulo are particularly keen to offer great food and excellent customer service. They have a great support team which includes both their wives, making La Familia a true family experience which you will want enjoy time and time again. La Familia offers a great affordable food and a friendly professional service. They have created a small Mediterranean paradise in the suburbs of Hampton Hill. They have brought a touch of Madeira with them by introducing exciting new dishes like The Espetada and Bacalhao.

We raised just under £2000 for the Venezuela Earthquake relief.

We were also running a raffle for anyone who donated. There were 2 prizes up for grabs. 1st was a £100 voucher to dine with us and 2nd was a bottle of Diplomatico Venezuelan Rum.

Today we have 2 winner for these prizes.
Richard was the 1st winner and choose the £100 voucher.
Harry was runner up and got the bottle of Rum.

Venezuela Earthquake Charity Update.

Firstly, just wanted to say a massive thank to all our customers who have contributed to this cause.

I can confirm we have already donated a total of £1000 too 2 trusted charities/foundation helping this crisis in Venezuela.

We are still doing our raffle competition in resturant and we have raised nearly another £200, which we will donate shortly. If you'd like to donate and enter our raffle, please don't hesitate to contact us.

As some of you may be aware, Venezuela has recently suffered 2 major earthquakes, which has destroyed homes, communities and families.

As some of you may not know, both Tania and Myself were born in Venezuela. My wife is Venezuelan. We have family in Venezuela. We have friends in Venezuela. Some of which have been affected in major ways. So this is something that really hits home and is very close to our hearts.

We have decided to focus our charity money raising on helping the people affect by these earthquakes.

On Friday the 26th, we held a raffle and raised £400. We have also decided to donate our World Cup Sweepstake money towards this cause, this means in this short period we have already raised £880.

We will also continue to raise money by holding a raffle/competition. We ask for a minimum donation and this will enter your name in to a prize draw. The prizes on offer are a voucher at the restaurant worth £100 or A bottle of Venezuelan Diplomatico Rum. There will be 2 winner.

We ask you for as much help as you can offer, we want to thank you in advance.
