We’ve been keeping something pretty big under wraps… and now we’re incredibly excited to share it for the first time.

After many years of travelling and tasting our way around Mexico and soaking up the global agave culture, it felt like a perfect moment to tell some stories and share our experiences of the culture that inspired and shaped Hacha from the very beginning.

Introducing, Mexico: The Art of Tequila and Mezcal - a beautiful 288-page hardback journey through Mexico, its spirits, people and places, created by Hacha co-founder Emma Murphy.

From the blue agave fields and historic distilleries of Jalisco to family-run palenques in Oaxaca, the bars of Mexico City and beyond, it explores the landscapes, communities, traditions and people behind tequila and mezcal.

Part travel memoir, part cultural exploration and part drinks book, it brings together vivid photography and first-hand stories, interviews with some of the most influential voices in agave, and - for the first time to be collated and available in print - 25 signature Hacha cocktail recipes.

A book for travellers, cocktail lovers, agave enthusiasts and anyone captivated by the spirit of Mexico.

The secret is finally out… for our first Studio Hacha project, we are proud to introduce The Top 100 Agave Cocktails of Europe.

Announced by Deano today on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, The Top 100 Agave Cocktails of Europe is the new evolvement of our annual Britains Best Tequila & Mezcal Cocktail competition. Having grown steadily over the last six years, alongside the rapid growth of the agave category, we felt it was time to up the ante and take the search across the continent.

More than simply a ranking, it will serve as a unique platform created to celebrate the bars, bartenders and producers shaping agave culture across Europe.

Over the coming weeks we’ll share how the project came together, reveal every cocktail and venue included in the 2026 list, and, on 16th September, unveil the rankings live. Stay tuned.

Introducing Studio Hacha.

Our once humble neighbourhood bar has evolved, bringing with it a new era for agave once again. No longer defined by four walls, we’re taking the experience, creativity and expertise that built Hacha beyond the bar and into the wider drinks industry.

Studio Hacha brings together everything we’ve spent years building—from market entry strategy, brand building and advocacy to events, education, media, serve strategy and creative development.

Whether it’s helping launch a new tequila into Europe, creating a drinks programme, developing signature serves, producing unforgettable events or telling compelling brand stories, Studio Hacha exists to help agave brands grow and stand out.

Behind the scenes we’ve already been working on our first Studio Hacha projects. This Sunday, Deano returns to Sunday Brunch on Channel 4 to celebrate National Tequila Day, share a few cocktails and reveal the first of what we’ve been building.

We can’t wait to share it with you.

Our Summer residency at Chelsea’s Ixchel kicked off last week with a bang! Thank you to all who came and joined us, oh how we missed you.

With our first weekend now under our belts it’s time to officially celebrate - and we’d love you to join us.

This Friday we’ll be hosting a launch party to remember, with complimentary cocktails and nibbles from 7-9pm and a full bar offering until late.
