A huge thank you to our Italian friends who came back to The Shanakee Ealing for a second Sunday while on their holidays.

Last week, they experienced the incredible atmosphere as Mayo supporters celebrated an unforgettable All-Ireland victory. This week, they came back—and they were the ones leading the singing, bringing the energy, and helping make another brilliant Sunday night.

That’s what a good pub is all about. People from different places, coming together over live music, a few pints, and plenty of good craic.

Tonight’s Trad Session did carry a little extra meaning.

Like so many across Ireland and around the world, we’re deeply saddened by the passing of Glen Hansard.

His music, his generosity, and the way he brought people together left a mark that will never fade.

Our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and everyone whose life he touched.

Rest in peace, Glen. 🇮🇪🎶

The craic was mighty last Sunday, here’s a snippet, so much to come.

Congratulations to Mayo on winning the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, and thanks to everyone who came in to celebrate with us. Nights like that are what it’s all about.
