Whitestone International Whitestone Since then, the sports industry has evolved and so have we.

Whitestone was formed by Chris Lightfoot (formerly Creative Director of Interbrand) as an independent agency to bring big business thinking to sports. The key objective was to create and deliver sports brands and experiences that raised the bar and quality of the fan experience and engagement - which in his view did not stand up to the professionalism that was offered by other industry sectors. By

focussing on the emotive connections and business of those involved in sports (fans, participants and business alike) we developed an approach and series of tools that increased audiences, participation and revenue. We are still a leading agency in sports, but we have also adapted our approach and taken it back into big business whereby our understanding of developing deep emotive connections and relationships in sports is underpinning business in other industry sectors. At Whitestone we believe in three core principles; that the brand is a strategic business tool as well as the key emotional point of consumer attraction, loyalty and value; that any creativity and design are more than wallpaper - they are the brand brought to life and therefore are also a business tool and should be based on the brand; and professionalism and high quality are fundamental to efficiency, effectiveness and central to our approach.
