The Shakespeares Head is a vibrant pub located in Soho The Shakespeare's Head is a historic pub in Soho, London dating back to the 18th century.

Our pub is famous for its life-size bust of Shakespeare gazing down on the busy street below. We're the perfect pitstop after a day of retail therapy on Oxford Street, and you can watch live sports on Sky and TNT Sports, relax in our beer garden or dine from our menu full of pub classics. With a delicious range of British classics and vegetarian, vegan and non-gluten options available alongside an

extensive drinks menu, there's something for everyone to enjoy. With free Wi-Fi, disabled facilities and a dog-friendly welcome, we ensure every customer is welcome. We even have a function room for hire. Pay us a visit soon.

Sitting on Great Marlborough Street, just steps from Carnaby Street, we've watched London change around us for generations.
Now we're getting ready for the next chapter.
Our transformation is underway, but we'll still be everything a proper London pub should be - welcoming, characterful and full of history.

After generations at the heart of Soho, it's time for another chapter in the story of this historic London pub.
Over the next few weeks we'll be working hard behind the scenes and sharing the transformation with you along the way.

We're getting ready to press pause for a few weeks... but not before one final weekend! 🍻
Shakespeare's Head has been part of Soho since 1736, and now we're getting ready for the next chapter in our story.
Join us for one last visit before we temporarily close on Sunday 6 September.
We'll be back at the beginning of October and we can't wait to show you what's coming.

You might notice things starting to look a little different outside Shakespeare's Head as we prepare for an exciting transformation.
But we're still very much open! 🍻
Step inside and you'll find plenty of space to escape the bustle of Carnaby Street, including our large, fully air-conditioned upstairs area.
So whether you're shopping, exploring Soho or simply stopping by for a well-earned drink, come in and see us.
We'll be open as usual until Sunday 6 September.
