We’re excited to begin these renovations that will allow us to work on making the pub and our offering even better for you. We’re also pleased to announce that the pub will reopen as
The Hercules. Back in 1869, this pub was named The Hercules Tavern and we’re delighted to bring this pub name back to Holloway Road. You can expect the same outstanding hospitality and service when we reopen, under our new name. Please join us on our revovations journey; you can keep up with our progress on our Facebook and Instagram accounts. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by our

St Patrick’s Day is our favourite day of the year, so we’re celebrating halfway to it. ☘️

Join us at The Hercules on Thursday 17 September for an evening of Irish music, dancing and food.

The Clarkes will be playing live from 4pm, followed by an Irish dance performance from Jig and a Swig, with Barry Owen on later in the evening.

There’ll also be some Irish food specials, good music and plenty of time for a few drinks.
