(and a lardy bastard) They were five total strangers, with nothing in common, meeting for the first time. A brain, a beauty, a jock, a rebel and a recluse. Before the day was over, they broke the rules. Bared their souls. And touched each other in a way they never dreamed possible. And ate black pudding.

I'm in the ept in south Ealing!!! It reopened Friday!!! A six week refurb turned into four months. Menu looks good and the staff aren't being pretentious t***s. Haven't checked to see if they do crisps yet, though. They used to look at me with utter hatred when I asked so I had to bring my own monster munch in from the newsagents. They also told off the 25 people id brought with me for singing happy birthday. Ale not on yet. Open fire and some moose heads over the bar. I'd advice getting down here in the first month before the chef gets depressed and f***s off.

The Walpole. What's going on? When is it open and will it ever be open for breakfast again? I popped by for 3500 calories this morning and it was shut and there is no sign that it will be open again. I had to make do with an 8 mile run and some fruit. Anyone got any news?
