END OF THE LINE ⚠️
 It’s with a very heavy heart that we’ve had to close our station & cease trading with immediate effect.

We’ve weathered many storms including navigating through the lockdown landscape with multiple arch adaptations. However despite fundraising efforts & grant support, trading through the cost of living crisis is an economic headwind that’s proved too strong to overcome.

We can’t express enough our eternal gratitude to our Newham neighbours & small suppliers for showing the local love over the years. We’re forever grateful to our talented Tracks team past & present including our current close-knit clan who are more like family. Wherever their next path lies no doubt they will be success stories.  What started as a labour of love evolved into a people powered place supporting grassroots projects, marginalised groups & the local LGBTQ+ community to help cause change. We also nurtured a co-operative economy that supported local creatives & encouraged entrepreneurship. It’s been really rewarding that our space has been a source of inspiration & springboard for others to launch their small startups & we were very proud to be awarded accreditation as a Newham Community Wealth Building Champion.

To those of you who kindly donated to the Save Tracks fundraiser - we're sorry we didn't manage to reach our target. Even though we fell about 35k short, the donations made were not in vain. They were a huge part of what kept us running since we launched the fundraiser until now and allowed us to support more community projects in that time. We're eternally grateful for your support.

On a personal level, I think I found my true calling in bringing people together & empowering them through collaborative community powered projects. The amount of people that have come to up me to say they’ve moved to Forest Gate because of our safe space or it has helped change their life really means a lot. There’s quite a lot to process & I think I’ll need some time to decompress but I’ve been overwhelmed by all the messages of support. I’m just so sorry I couldn’t do anything more.

I’m not sure what the future holds but I hope the spirit of Tracks lives on…

NOW FOSTER 👩‍👩‍👧

Joining our .her.they.them social tonight will be Laurie from who are working in partnership with to support East Londoners to foster 👩‍👩‍👧‍👦

SHE HER THEY THEM 🏳️‍🌈👭🏳️‍⚧️

We welcome back our amazing allies .her.they.them this Thursday 3rd August for another Tracks takeover to uplift q***r women, non-binary & gender non-conforming people across Newham 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

This time around they’ll be hosting a relaxed summer social to chill and connect 👭 with outdoor board games 🎲 and rezzie DJ spinnin’ the She Her They Them soundtrack 🎶

They’ll also be facilitating a workshop with to give children in care a safe and supportive home 🏡

1 in 6 adopters identify as LGBTQ+ however the LGBTQ+ community is significantly represented in foster care 👩‍👩‍👧‍👦

Now Foster is a team of innovative social workers, designers and entrepreneurs who want to change how fostering is done. They are a not-for-profit supporting a broader demographic of people to know more about fostering and maybe go on to consider how it could fit in their life. Many people don’t know that there are so many different ways to foster, from a day a week to full time till a child reaches adulthood 👧👩

Doors open 6.30pm with the station kitchen serving till 9pm 🍽️ and our E7 engine running till 11pm 🚂

Forest Gate forecast lookin’ like gonna stay dry ☁️🤞but if another weather washout we can host inside our station 🚉

We aim to be as inclusive as possible, which is why we operate a Pay What You Can policy. We don’t charge door cover, we just accept donations, every penny of which goes towards keeping the events running 🪣

After a lil’ hiatus welcome back local live band hosts this Saturday 29th July for another night of Americana, Blues & Folk flavour 🎶

This time around they’ll be hosting Gibraltar’s signer songwriter and poet 🎩 who recently received airplay on the show on 📻 and will be playing songs off his new album ‘Solo’ 💿

Please note we’ll be suspending Saturday service at 7pm ⚠️ then the station will reopen 8pm for our Lost Horizons live showcase. Last orders at the kitchen 9pm and we’ll be running an extended express till Midnight 🚂🍻

SOMMELIER SELECTOR 🍾🍷👨‍🦰

Station Manager Matt will be back hosting his Sommelier Selector series this Thursday 5pm-11pm to talk through and showcase some of our natural wines 🍷

He’ll be poppin’ open our fine wine off the shop shelf with a focus on our organic range and free-pouring for you to try before you buy with 10% off all our retail bottles from the station shop shelf 🍾

Free entry and complimentary nibbles provided so start the weekend just right by sampling some free fine wine from Planet Earth 🌍

Station kitchen also serving till 9pm with our seasonal staples including our beetroot pesto pasta the perfect wine pairing partner 🍝

Sfera is short for ‘atmosphere’ in Italian, and they are on a mission to bring ‘cosmic verve in a litre bottle from the Alps 🏔 to the Mediterranean 🌅

They work with a roster of certified-organic growers across Italy, making fun wines that are an Italian take on the east-drinking ‘vin de soif’ of France. Each cuvée is produced on a limited basis and is made entirely from the grapes of a single grower to maintain a relationship between the terroir and wine 🍇

Sfera Macerato (White), Puglia - Elderflower, honeysuckle, citrus zest. Fresh & light with very little tannin 🌸🍯🍊

Sfera Rosato (Rose), Abruzzo - Raspberries, cherries, pomegranate. Fresh, lively & dry 🍇🍒

It’s time for another deep dose of diggers delight this Sunday 30th July as we welcome back local dealers who’ll be hosting the Forest Gate record fair down the station strip 🚉

Local prime purveyors and some special guest sellers will be wheelin’n’dealin’ their carefully curated crates of choice cuts burstin’ with boogie bombs 💣 disco diamonds 💎 funk flava 🕺 house heat 🔥 jazz joints 🎷 rock records 🎸 and bargain bin belters 🗑️

Not content with just dealing their wax wares they’re also inviting DJs and of 📻 who will also be spinnin’ some scores on the Dig A Little soundsystem soundtrackin’ our Sunday social 🎶

As well as the record fair we’ll be serving up our usual brunch biz for fuel 🍳🥓🍄🥯☕️ and rail refreshments 🍻

So stop by for a Sunday social and strike some black gold! ⛏

SATURDAY SCHEDULE 🚂

We’re looking forward to hosting our guests and hosts & tonight 👩‍🦰🧡👩‍🦰 who despite the washout weather will be dishin’ up some summer flavour to brighten the station 🥗

As we will be suspending service earlier today due to the supper club please see below for an updated station bulletin on our Saturday schedule:

- We will be running a limited Saturday service with the bar and station kitchen open only for brunch & late lunch service until 4pm 🍳🥓🌿🥯☕️

- After 4pm our off-licence only open for Tracks takeout tipples 🍾🍺🛒

- Normal service resumes tomorrow 10am-8pm with Aunty Asbo spinnin’ from 2pm for a Sunday station social to wind the weekend down in style 🎶

So if you want to stop by our station strictly a daytime Saturday social 🍻

AUNTY ASBO ✊

After serving up brunch biz on Sunday Forest Gate’s grassroots activist and mattress muralist Aunty Asbo aka is back at the station controls from 2pm for a Sunday social spinnin’ some soul, jazz and reggae so come wind the weekend down in style 🌳🌞🎶

We also have a small stash left of her custom-made mural tees featuring Frida Khalo, Grace Jones and Jimi Hendrix so you can wear her mattress avenger art 👕

In the meantime we’re suspending service tonight from 6pm ⚠️ as we’re hosting a private party for one of our Forest Gate fam 🥳

Normal service resumes tomorrow for brunch and late lunch then from 7pm we host Forest Gate’s culinary creatives 🧡 last shout for tix you can book in bio 👩‍🍳
