Oxjam Islington has opened the Summer Pop Up Arts Hub Square, in the former Post office on Upper Street for the month of July. The hub will be the temporary home for a series of events to highlight local creative groups and individuals. u will be able to bring your own drinks along with a question for the compere to read out! The space has been donated by Sager Group, who are redeveloping the former Almeida Sorting
Office, and is being curated by Oxjam Islington – a group of local volunteers, who run events to raise money and awareness for Oxfam as well as local causes. Oxjam Islington is working with a team of community partners to ensure that the space is well used, benefits the community and showcases the developments and plans for Islington Square.
