All Good things come to an end...
9 years ago this week, a biochemist and a graphic designer fulfilled a long-held dream to open a little natural wine bistrot… one rule and one aim: generosity and to go more than organic from A to Z. The rest we would learn and figure out along the way.
What an adventure this turned out to be! So many new friends, so many wonderful memories, so many happy faces. The most recurring and humbling compliment we have received again and again was that at Rubedo it felt like being somewhere cosy in Italy or France.
None of this could have ever been achieved without so many talented team members who helped us along the way: your hard work, dedication, and love for Rubedo will always be remembered.
And thank you to all our fantastic suppliers who gave us access to the best wines and produces we could dream of.
But a restaurant is nothing without customers, so the biggest thank you goes to our dear guests. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your love and support throughout these years, it was a joy to welcome every single one of you and we will miss you dearly.
So, after 9 long years, we decided to call it a day and move on to new adventures! We leave our baby in the safe and capable hands of , who will create a fresh and exciting concept that we are confident will add another fantastic chapter to this cosy little restaurant on Church Street.
On Saturday, October 26th, we invite you to join us for our final day of trading with a full-day celebration starting at 2 PM. Enjoy the music of our rotating friends on the decks, indulge in some snacks, and take advantage of our entire cellar at generous discounted prices. Let’s come together to celebrate and mark this very special day!
