SUNDAY 9TH AUGUST

6:30 p.m. Twins — A Split Bill

This is a Stand up Comedy split bill with a twist, it is performed by Chris and Matthew Ali who are twins. We are spitting images of each other with one twin who is straight and one who is gay.

We both started stand up comedy at the same time 4 years ago and have been honing our craft independently for that time and are now coming together to bring one show. We will be doing a set each of our own stand up material and a section where we will be doing a double act and interacting with the audience.

It’s a unique show brought by two people who look the same.

Atmospheric vocals, strings and horns gliding over finger-picked guitar, melodic bass and complex percussion. The result is a beautiful orchestral-folk sound that evades immediate
comparison.

Alice Fraser is a beloved cult classic: an award-winning writer, broadcaster and comedian, and a regular co-host on The Bugle. In her new show, you can come watch Alice Fraser try to talk to men, what could possibly go wrong?
“Fraser’s story-telling is charismatically compelling and her delivery is flawlessly paced..it makes you laugh, it makes you cry…most importantly it makes you think.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Broadway Baby

“Consistently dynamic and compelling, Alice Fraser may be unorthodox, but that is her charm, and she has it in droves.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Edinburgh Guide

John-Luke Roberts is an award-winning comedian, writer, artist, and person. His podcast Sound Heap won the BBC Audio Drama Awards for Best Sketch Comedy. In his new show “What I Talk About When I Run About, Talking” he’s talking about the human condition, nearly dying while watching Alf, and what it’s like to get an endoscopy at 11am on Rememberance Sunday. This show is a genuine attempt to pivot to the mainstream, and there should be at least five laughs per minute. No refunds.

“Flawless delivery and creative originality” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The List
“More original punchlines in his hour than some comedians manage in a career” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 Chortle

THURSDAY 4TH JUNE! Sharon Wanjohi is finally getting her s**t together.

It’s time. I’ve bought some crystals, taken an iron supplement and finally stopped avoiding my taxes.

Will this be enough to undo years of avoidance? My therapist (girl I met in a nightclub toilet years ago) says no but I say yes. Because delusion is the key to success.

Sharon Wanjohi is a q***r British Kenyan comedian, who’s been making waves on the circuit with her take on the lack of Gen-z homeowners and maybe too much material on the cartoons that inspired a generation of sexual awakenings.

She has written on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Late Night Lycett and The Jonathan Ross Show.

I think the present feels heavy and the past feels like the moon, where there was less gravity and I was lighter. Meet me on the moon.
