A recently refurbished traditional British pub with plenty of charm and character, The Salutation is located right in the heart of Hammersmith. An old coaching inn has stood on this site since circa 1750. It was proud then, as it is now of its traditional beers, travellers fayre and warm welcome. Greeting you with its famous frontage of ceramic tiles, The Salutation puts real emphasis on quality.

Whether you fancy a glass of Rioja after work, a pint with friends during the big match or a homely meal by the fire, here, we encourage you to take some well-earned time out. Those wishing to escape the office or just the hustle and bustle of King Street can seek solace at The Salutation and discover the beer garden while enjoying a long, lingering pint of real ale, come rain or shine. A warm friendly atmosphere pervades this pub, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a get-together with family & friends (even the four-legged variety). History

A Coaching Inn on the site has been dated back to 1750. The current Salutation building, built in 1910, is Grade II listed and boasts many original features including the ‘exuberant pale blue and mauve faience tile dressings’, the ornate wooden bar & the two working fire-places.

Following on from this afternoons announcement from our prime minister, we would like to advise you all,that The Salutation will be staying open until we are told otherwise.
