The Grape Society Once a month drinks tastings giving fun-filled intros to specific regions, styles or categories with plenty to drink and learn.

Alison and Tom first met over a nice cup of tea when they began working for the same restaurant group. It wasn’t long before tea became booze and they found themselves tasting their way through 43 London craft beers in an afternoon. All in the name of work, naturally. The friendship was sealed with a “bitter off” in a vermouth bar: Alison triumphed by taking joy in drinking gentian root extract, which Tom had described as “drier than the Sahara”. Their mutual passion for all things fermented & distilled has taken them on many delicious adventures and resulted in them running drinks clubs, tastings, wine dinners and countless training sessions.
