Silvia is a Lithuanian/Italian jazz vocalist, composer, performer, songwriter and improviser. Her music offers a balanced mix of energetic and soothing compositions, exploring themes of growth, vulnerability and loneliness. Here comes the sun - it's the first day of summer and time to shout about our headliners for June: Led Bib.

Led Bib are one of the UK’s most daring and acclaimed bands, smashing through genre boundaries with a sound that fuses jazz, rock, improv and noise into something entirely their own. Formed in 2003 by drummer and composer Mark Holub, the group have released 11 albums, toured internationally, and picked up major accolades—including a Mercury Prize nomination for their breakout record Sensible Shoes.

From the raw energy of their early releases to the vocal-led experimentation of It’s Morning and the bold reinvention of their latest album Hotel Pupik, Led Bib have consistently earned critical acclaim for their restless creativity and explosive live shows. Now reimagined as a keyboard-less quartet, the band continues to evolve, with a renewed sound that’s deeper, more melodic, and as fearless as ever. Over 20 years in, Led Bib are still making music that’s impossible to pin down—and impossible to ignore.

Our band, NTBM (Not-To-Be-Missed) is made up of:

This core unit has taken their "East-Meets-West" sound from underground jam sessions to the legendary stage of Ronnie Scott’s and a breakout performance at the Love Supreme Festival. In 2025, the collective reached new heights with a trilogy of singles that showcase their evolving narrative: the high-octane "You Want Some?", the atmospheric, fan-favorite "Purple Skyline" (featuring Natalie Oliveri), and the sun-soaked, groove-heavy "Caribbean Sunset" (featuring J_Colurz). Together, these tracks prove that the NTBM story is one that continues to push the boundaries of the modern jazz scene.

This month's soloist is Gareth Lockrane who, after raiding his dad's record collection, discovered jazz at age 14. Early influences included Cannonball Adderley, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Bill Evans and Stan Getz on the jazz side whilst also being transfixed by the great blues/rock guitarists of the 60s and 70s as a child - BB King, Jimi Hendrix, Albert King, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy. Learning blues guitar solos on the flute at the age of 15 was a formative experience!

In 1997, his band "The Jazz System" formed with Osian Roberts was a finalist in the Vienna Jazz Festival Grande Concours de Jazz. In 1998, he studied on the Lake Placid Jazz Course in New York with Joe Lovano, Dick Oatts and Jim McNeely and in 2000 was a finalist in the Young Jazz Musician of the Year competition.

As well as his own bands, Gareth has been involved in many diverse projects on recording projects and live gigs including bands and recordings led by Quincy Jones, Dick Oatts, Tom Cawley, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Nikki Iles, Jodie Abacus, Reuben James, Lianne La Havas, Michael Kiwanuka, Marti Pellow, Seal, Corrine Bailey Rae and many more.

From the neon streets of Hong Kong to the vibrant jazz cellars of London, guitarist Tjoe Man Cheung has turned his global journey into a unique sonic identity. After honing his craft in Los Angeles, Tjoe settled in the UK with a singular mission: to create a collective that bridges the gap between Eastern roots and Western grooves. The result is NTBM (Not To Be Missed)—less a traditional band and more a living musical diary. What started as a creative experiment has evolved into a powerhouse collective of top-tier London talent, translating Tjoe’s life experiences into an explosive mix of urban jazz, fusion, and soul.
