The Home Guard Club

The Home Guard Club The Home Guard is a social club in SW14. Facilities include a clubhouse, garden and indoor pool.

Located in the suburban area of Richmond, the BHGA Club is a secret oasis providing an indoor space for up to 150 people, or an outdoor space for up to 500+ people. BHGA Club will strive to host any type of event from Family gatherings, Private / Corporate, Festival / Community events and more. June is heating up… and so is the Club ☀️

As the temperatures rise, so does the calendar, with plenty going on this month. Join us for live music, three bingo nights, our ever popular quiz night, and the latest Sheen Live Jam. We’ll also be showing the start of the World Cup, so there’s lots for members and guests to look forward to.

Please do keep an eye on the programme, and remember that when the Club is privately hired, it will be closed to regular service.

Will April’s quiz winners Black Velvet stay on top, or will a new team claim quiz glory on Thursday 5th June?

Our monthly Quiz Night with is back, and Justin will once again be bringing the energy, the questions, and the quizmaster magic.

💡 Entry fee to play is £2, preferably cash
👥 Teams of 6 are best. Larger teams can play, but points will be deducted
🍻 Booking a table is highly recommended, so round up your sharpest minds and reserve your spot at the bar or by emailing [email protected]
👋 Non members are welcome, with a £5 guest entry fee payable in addition to the £2 quiz entry fee

And remember, this is serious quiz business, so bring your best team name too.

Join us at The Home Guard for Eurovision 2026 Grand Finale ✨

Expect nation-themed fancy dress, a screening of the Eurovision final, a sweepstake, and a few extra touches throughout the evening to make it more than just a viewing party.

💃🏆 Fancy dress prize alert come dressed to represent a country and there will be perks for those making the effort.

The screening starts at 8PM, but come earlier to grab a table and settle in with your friends or family.

This month, we’re turning up the nostalgia and diving into a Synthpop special.
Whether you’re a seasoned musician or just love to jam, Sheen Live Jam is your space to play, sing, connect, and enjoy an evening of great tunes and community vibes. Happening every second Thursday of the month, it’s quickly becoming a go-to for music lovers of all kinds.

✨ What to expect:
A curated Jam of the Month built around a Synthpop set, a selection of themed songs you’ll recognise (and love), all guided by our house band with the stage open for anyone to jump in and play or sing.
