Performed live by a 35-piece orchestra and vocalists, this is your chance to enjoy Down for the Count as you’ve never heard them before, performing the music of Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Martha and the Vandellas and more.

Enter Verdi’s operatic world of passion and tragedy with highlights from his epic masterpiece ‘Don Carlo’ at Cadogan Hall on 24 November. 

Verdi’s grand opera is filled with themes of forbidden love, loyalty, betrayal, royalty and religious fervour. 

Featuring a dazzling line-up of international opera soloists, recent alumni from the , with a chorus including students from the this concert presents the ‘best bits’ of Verdi’s stirring opera.

The orchestra, comprised of players from the renowned Glyndebourne Sinfonia, will be led by fresh from his triumph conducting Puccini’s ‘La fanciulla del West’ for London’s Opera Holland Park.

This October, get under the skin of Mozart’s final symphony, as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra retells the story of a masterwork.

Music Director Vasily Petrenko (conducting the RPO for the first time at Cadogan Hall) will lead the full Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, alongside presenter Leah Broad for this entertaining musical guide into Mozart’s mind - concluding the evening with a full performance.

Composed in 1788, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed his last ever symphony, but we’re still not quite sure how he did it: creating a masterpiece so perfect that for more than two centuries, it has shared a name with the king of the gods. But why is it considered to be a masterpiece?

Whether you’re a hardcore Mozart fan or a total newbie, it’s an experience that never fails to inspire.

Chelsea Arts Festival welcomes screenwriter Diana Reid, costume designer Grace Snell, and actors Fiona Shaw (Mrs. Jennings) and Bodhi Rae Breathnach (Margaret Dashwood) for an in-depth conversation on bringing Jane Austen’s novel to the screen.

Hosted by prominent film critic and broadcaster Anna Smith, the session includes exclusive clips from the film, alongside insight into the writing, casting and costume design choices behind this new adaptation, before the floor opens to questions from the audience.
