The NDR Radio Philharmonic and Nikolai Lugansky in rehearsals for their concert this October at Cadogan Hall.

Led by Stanislav Kochanovsky, conductor this will be the first concert in our 2026-27 Zurich International Orchestra Series.

One of today’s most inspirational pianists, Nikolai Lugansky, joins the orchestra for Rachmaninov’s virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 1.

The programme also includes not one but two symphonies, opening with Prokofiev’s affectionate and soulful Symphony No. 1 and closing with Brahms’ joyfully melodic Symphony No. 2.

Internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter took to the Cadogan Hall stage last week for a special recital performance.

Alongside a unique three-piece ensemble of piano, guitar and accordion, von Otter’s recital programme took us on a nostalgic journey through two vibrant musical worlds: the romantic elegance of mid-century France and the smoky allure of Weimar cabaret.

This was the third and final concert in our Edith Presents series 2025-26, head to cadoganhall.com/edith-presents to find out more.
