Milroy's of Soho was founded by brothers, John & Wallace Milroy, in 1964 - fifty years later we continue to sell premium whiskies from Scotland and around the world. In December 2014 we became independent once again and began the process of giving the shop a much needed refurbishment. 2015 has seen us return with a refurbished shop, new stock, a whisky bar and a secret cocktail bar!

Our new Allt-A-Bhainne 2008 Vintage Reserve is pure decadence from start to finish.

Think Danish pastries, buttercream, gingerbread biscuits, crème caramel and cinnamon doughnuts… all wrapped up in a luxuriously rich, old-school profile.

Aged for 17 years in a third-fill sherry butt, it balances deep dessert sweetness with warming spice, dried fruits and an elegant earthy finish.

We can’t disclose the distillery (although we’d love to hear your guesses – it’s renowned for its finishing expertise 👀) but we can shout about its elegant fruit and honey-driven profile. A fascinating opportunity to try this celebrated maker without heavy cask influence.
