Most of you are probably aware things have been very quiet at The Round for the last 6 months. All good things come to an end, and after getting married our priorities changed and The Round was no longer viable for us. As a parting gift, we present the 'Puzzle Factory Sessions' – recorded earlier this year with Dax at Puzzle Factory Sound Studios. Take a listen and enjoy seven original songs performed in a raw and intimate setting, perfectly recreating The Round’s unique vibe.

Born and raised in the coastal town of Bournemouth, UK, Charlie Hole’s story began when he heard Damien Rice’s ‘O’ at the tender age of 14. From that first listen, his desire to reach the same emotional depths became clear; realising his ability to create emotive and fearless tracks, learning and evolving throughout.
Coined by Rod Stewart as an emerging talent with a gift for writing ‘beautiful songs’, Charlie has always been destined for great things. With a brave and honest voice, tackling relatable subject matters for all audiences, Charlie Hole shares his personal stories of broken dreams and lost love in the pursuit of happiness through his powerful and commanding songwriting.

Be at Rolling Stock to hear Jade Helliwell share her songs with The Round for the first time! - Round 60 - Charlie Hole, Jade Helliwell, Jack Francis

Jade’s songs are influenced by pop and country artists old and new, such as Taylor Swift, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Maren Morris and Kelsea Ballerini.
In February 2017 Jade won the Yamaha Hoedown competition managing to secure a slot at the UKs biggest country festival C2C at the 02 in London. She was also nominated for several awards, including ‘Box Radio – Best Female and Best Solo’, ‘Ukcountryradio – Artist of the year and UK Female of the year’, ‘Best of British Music Award – Best Unsigned Female' and 'Yorkshire Roots Awards – Outstanding artist' , the latter of which she went on to win.
Jade also won the prestigious BCMA ‘Female Vocalist of The Year’ award at the 2017 BCMA awards night. She looks forward to an exciting 2018 with festival slots and new music on the horizon.

He's Back!! so happy to welcome Jack Francis back to the stage next week as we get back into The Round

In little over a year, Jack Francis has gone from playing his unique brand of folk/soul/americana at small local gigs in his hometown of Southampton, to appearing at major UK festivals such as the Isle Of Wight, Victorious and Stone Free Festival at the O2 Arena.

Attracting the attention of the industry, his debut EP 'The Van Wyck Expressway' has been championed by BBC Introducing, as well as receiving national radio play on Tom Robinson's Radio 6 Music show. His self-titled second EP was released at the start of 2017. The lead single 'Play On' was recorded at The Workshop, Notting Hill in late 2016, and was debuted on BBC Introducing shortly after."
