Join us this Friday, 15th May 2026 at Raven Records for a special edition of our Heavy Metal Therapy “Be Reyt” support group, featuring a live panel discussion hosted by Ex-MTV “Headbangers Ball” VJ/Presenter and creative collaborator with Ghost, Vanessa Warwick.
The panel will examine how heavy metal and the wider alternative community can support individuals through challenging times, drawing on both personal experiences and broader perspectives around connection, identity, and recovery. Please note that this event will be filmed sensitively for Vanessa’s and our socials (with permission from contributors), and recording will also take place during the panel segment of the evening.
In addition to the panel, we will continue to host our monthly in-person Heavy Metal Therapy “Be Reyt” support group, providing a space for open and respectful conversations around mental health. Sessions are facilitated by trained individuals and are held in confidence to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all attendees.
Heavy Metal Therapy is a Community Interest Company (CIC) founded by members of the metal community with lived experience of mental health challenges, alongside those with professional backgrounds in mental health. It is grounded in the belief that music, community, and shared experiences can play a meaningful role in supporting wellbeing.
Please note that this is a peer support group and not a clinical mental health service.
Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
