Yesterday marked the end of an era at The Tumbler, as after four great years we bid adieu to our Bar Manager, the one and only Louis.
Sure, Lou’s music taste was questionable, his love for all things indie was quite overwhelming and made us reconsider his position more than once. He’d deny this but video evidence of him singing Sam Fender singing is available on request.
He’s been there through some brilliant nights, some of the more questionable ones, somehow survived THAT staff party and handled more Tumbler nonsense than any one person should reasonably have to endure.
Lou has been an integral part of the machine and has given an enormous amount over the last four years to help shape the bar into what it is today. We couldn’t be more grateful and we wish him the absolute best of luck with whatever comes next.
It’s been a blast and an honour. Thanks for putting up with us both, there really should be some sort of medal awarded for that.
We’ll miss having you around!
