Another Pub Quiz at The Jolly Sailor, and at this point we’re considering issuing loyalty cards to some of these faces. 👀😂

🏆 1st — I Like Big Boats and I Cannot Lie
£28 richer and absolutely insufferable about it. 🚢💷

🥈 2nd — Ebony & Ivory
So close to glory they could practically smell the £28. Instead: silver. Thoughts and prayers. 😭

🥉 3rd — Swiss Cheese
A few holes in the general knowledge, apparently. 🧀😂 Still, they left with Tyrrells, so frankly… who’s the real winner here?

⚓️ Last — Ammarechi
The quiz may have defeated them, but LOOK AT THOSE HATS. 😂 We sent them home with sailor hats and chewing gum because at The Jolly Sailor even failure comes with accessories. 💅⚓️

And to the familiar faces who keep coming back week after week: we see you. 👀 At this stage it’s less “coming to the pub quiz” and more a competitive academic career with alcohol.

🎤 KARAOKE IS BACK TOMORROW! 🎤

Join us at The Jolly Sailor from 8pm for our fortnightly Karaoke Night — questionable vocals, brilliant performances and absolutely no judgement. 🎶😂

But this September, we’re adding something a little more meaningful. ❤️

Throughout the month, we’ll be supporting Marmalade Trust, a charity dedicated to raising awareness of loneliness and helping people build meaningful connections.

And really, what better place to start than the pub? 🍻

Across our 2 Karaoke Nights, 2 Pub Quizzes and Comedy Club this September, we’ll be collecting donations and doing our little bit to bring people together.

Well… that escalated beautifully. 😂🎶

Guitars came out, duets happened, questionable vocal decisions were made and somehow EVERYONE became a superstar for at least three minutes. ⭐️

This is exactly why we love our karaoke nights — no judgement, no auditions, just grab the mic and GO FOR IT. 🎤🍻

Huge love to everyone who sang, cheered, danced and joined the madness. ❤️

Karaoke is back again in two weeks — 8PM till late.

⚓️🧠 WELL… THE QUIZ IS DEFINITELY GETTING SERIOUS NOW! 🧠⚓️

Another brilliant night at The Jolly Sailor Pub Quiz — more teams, more competition, more prizes… and increasingly questionable displays of “general knowledge”. 😂🍻

🏆 QUIZ FACE took the crown and walked away with a very respectable £36 CASH! 💷👏

🍷 WELL WELL WELL’S came in 2nd and took home the w**e!

🥃 LITTER QUIZZERS claimed 3rd place and the shots — although they escaped before we managed to get photographic evidence. 👀😂

🍰 And somebody has to come last…
This week that honour went to BIRD BRAINS, who were rewarded for their spectacular achievement with a CHEESECAKE. 😂👏
Because at The Jolly Sailor, even losing has its benefits.
