It was a close match from start to finish, with both teams putting up a great fight, but the Beez held their nerve and came out on top. Every single player put in a smashing performance and contributed to a fantastic team result.

On Saturday 9th May, our very own Eddie McCarthy successfully completed another incredible 13-mile half marathon walk in support of the Alzheimer’s Society 💙👏

Not only did Eddie smash the challenge once again, but thanks to the amazing generosity of everyone here at The Belfry Club, we’re proud to say that together we helped raise an incredible £160 towards this fantastic cause ❤️

From everyone who donated, shared the posts, cheered him on, or showed support in any way — THANK YOU.

Community spirit like this is exactly what The Belfry is all about ✨

What a fabulous review from the guys over at Pub Sessions! 😁🍻😁

The Belfry really is one of those places you have to experience to understand properly… a hidden little gem tucked away in Plumstead full of characters, laughs, stories and surprises around every corner ✨

Massive thank you to the lads for popping in and capturing the unique spirit of the club so perfectly. From Ed the Fez working his magic and comedy at the tables, to the locals making everyone feel welcome, this is exactly what The Belfry is all about — community, conversation and good times 🍺🎭🪄

So far, The Belfry Club has raised £100 for Eddie McCarthy’s 13-mile half marathon walk in support of the Alzheimer’s Society 💙

But with Eddie taking on the challenge THIS SATURDAY (9th May), we know we can push that total much higher!

Whether it’s £1, £5 or whatever you can spare, every donation helps support an incredible cause and shows Eddie that the whole Belfry community is behind him 👏

🪙 Donation sheet is at the bar NOW — so next time you’re in, please dig deep and help us give Eddie the support he deserves.
