Kicking off closing ceremonies here for our final weekend of 2025 is on Friday night.

Jack & Jack will be hosting a more intimate session in the upstairs bar to celebrate another year of great events! Jazz and soul sounds from the Americas, Africa, Caribbean and elsewhere locked and loaded from 9pm - 2am.

🇫🇷 Réverie Orange: An easy and approachable orange wine out of Languedoc. Delicious aromatic orange blossom and stone fruit on the nose with a great balance of tannin and acidity.

🇫🇷 Ca Goute de Ciel Pinot Noir: Beautiful medium to light bodied Pinot. Smooth and slightly jammy - excellent value for money from this Pays D’Oc producer.

A free-entry dance with a world class lineup in the basement of Dalston’s SJQ. Friday 7th November. Balearic, Downtempo, House, and everything in between. We’re joined by Nic Jalusi and Pio of Munich-based label and digging crew Super Sound Global, alongside two of Split’s finest selectors Marko Friedl and DJ OZ, one half of Adriatic Social Club. Kicking off proceedings from 9pm is Jilian Smack. Arrive early and party until close. This one’s a special one.

We are excited to be back with our next 10A Session - a double bill featuring Cuban/Norwegian duo to you they are birds, to me they are voices in the forest and Raimund Wong & Suren Seneviratne.

This session is also the UK release party for to you they are birds, to me they are voices in the forest's new album Primordia, released on tape/digital via Sucata Tapes in October 2025.

SJQ regulars Mind Dance DJs will be playing records on the night.

to you they are birds, to me they are voices in the forest is a collaborative project between Cuban multidisciplinary artist Daiyen Jone and Norwegian producer/sound artist Knut Jonas Sellevold. The duo released their first album on cassette/digital via the Bergen-based label Vibrant Matter in May 2025. Their second release Primordia was released on October 29th 2025 on Sucata Tapes. The two releases fuse the duo’s diverse musical backgrounds, from Cuban traditional music and ambient field recordings to 4th world electronica, and global dance music.

Audio-visual artist Raimund Wong (Floating World Pictures) and unboundaried composer Suren Seneviratne (My Panda Shall Fly / Soundway) present their debut album on . Interweaving folk, ambient and free improvisation, A Record of Living Beings playfully confronts traditional instrumentation (khæn, shakuhachi, voice, taishogoto, cello) with live tape processing and esoteric '90s software.
