TUESDAY 3RD - NEW LANDS: DEAD SLOW HOOT + WORSTIE

Dead Slow Hoot are an ever evolving, ever experimenting outfit whose soaring indie rock twists and turns in ways you never quite expect, built around the singular songwriting chops of frontman Hugo Lynch. Their 2025 album, Orbits Intervened, was one of our favourites of last year and we can’t wait to hear what they’ve been working on since.

worstie is a songwriter and producer. her music is tender, wild, and chronically online. she performs delicate vocal landscapes over unrelenting layers of acoustic & industrial art-pop arrangements.

TUESDAY 20TH - NEW LANDS: THE TEJ QUARTET + ARPS & BIG OIL

An entirely instrumental special edition of New Lands!

The TEJ Quartet is built around the idiosyncratic and hypnozting guitar work of Toby Evans-Jesra (Lobby, Leather.head, Piglet). He is joined by three incredible guitarists who symphonise and explore every sonic space between quiet and loud, between jarring and joy.

Also performing will be arps & Big Oil, who will be debuting a very special live collaboration, merging arps’ lush, ambient, amphibian-infused dreamscapes and Big Oil’s primitive-inspired fingerpicked guitar.

With support from The Ivy House Foundation, all ticket proceeds of this event will be donated to the Pecan Southwark Foodbank and we will be collecting donations for the foodbank on the night.

The short-lived Blitz club in London’s Covent Garden was more than somewhere to hang out or be seen: it was a catalyst for cultural explosion, a counter-culture blast against everything Thatcher’s leadership had ushered in by the dawn of the 80s. Tuesday nights boasted a ferocious, fearless cast - from Boy George and Spandau Ballet to Grayson Perry and Peter Doig, to Michele Clapton, Sade and John Galliano. This was the vanguard of a different England; socially liberal, loud, proud and diverse, fiercely individualistic and determined to succeed. Britain was black and white; the Blitz Kids switched on the colour.

In Blitz, Elms reflects on a club night founded by working-class kids, one whose impact reverberated beyond its doors, through the worlds of Art, Literature, Fashion and Music, and into the present day.
