Join us for our most fabulous festive season yet!! Whether it’s Christmas dinner with friends or a feast on the 25th itself, let us throw you a Christmas to remember forever.

From Monday 16th November, our Christmas and festive party menus will be available to pre-order.

Expect a generous, elevated take on the Christmas classics, showcasing the best locally sourced produce and everything you love about Christmas at The Surprise – with a little extra occasion for the festive season!

Gather friends, family or colleagues around the table and let us take care of the rest. With w**es from Hallgarten Fine Wines and the brilliant Goedhuis, and a cocktail list to match, we’ll see you at the bar.

Bonjour! French Week is coming to The Surprise Monday 7th - Saturday 12th September

For one week only, we’re bringing a little taste of France to Chelsea, with a celebration of French food, w**e and joie de vivre.

Start with a perfectly poured French 75 at the bar, explore our incredible selection of French w**es, and settle in for a menu packed with French favourites.

Our specials will run alongside our Autumn á la carte, think French onion soup, classic steak tartare, confit duck leg with dauphinoise, Provençal ratatouille and an indulgent 8oz Chateaubriand with fries and your choice of peppercorn or béarnaise sauce.

And of course, no French feast would be complete without crème brûlée or a beautiful selection of French cheeses to finish.

Throughout the week, we’ll be bringing a little extra French flair to the pub:

Monday – Gypsy Jazz (7:30-9:30pm)
Ease into the week with live gypsy jazz and a glass of something French.

Tuesday – The Mime Returns (from 7pm)
Our much-loved mime makes a return for an evening of French-inspired entertainment.

Wednesday – Chansons Françaises (7:30-9:30pm)
An evening of classic French songs and a little Parisian atmosphere.

Whether you’re joining us for a French 75 at the bar, settling in for dinner or staying late for the entertainment, come and celebrate La Grande Fête with us.
