The weather out there is a wash, so, leave the wet streets behind, head into the crates, and dive straight into HOUSE with some heavyweight heat. We’ve pulled four massive, essential house plates from the new drop to keep the room warm and the low-ends rolling all weekend long.

The pints are cold, the shelter is dry, and the wax is spinning. Come hide out from the storm with us and find your weekend soundtrack.

1. Barry Can’t Swim - Amor Fati EP (2021)
Shall Not Fade
Jazz-Infused Deep House / Melodic House

A modern-day holy grail. A massive record that completely broke out into the mainstream electronic sphere. Musically, this is pure euphoria, blending jazzy, syncopated piano cords, a warm moving baseline, and chopped-up, soulful vocals that radiate sunshine. An absolute timeless treasure

2. Vytamin - V World (2023)
Retro Futura Records
90s Electro / Cyber Breakbeat / Neo-trance / Tech House

A beautiful designed double LP package that completely nails that classic 90s arcade aesthetic. If you want your set to sound like a futuristic sci-fi racing game or an underground hacker rave from 1995, this is the holy grail.

3. Dancin’ In The Garage EP - Sweely (2022)
Limousine dream - ran by Gene On Earth
Bumpy Minimal House / UK Garage Hybrid / Deep Tech

One of the biggest underground dance anthems of the 2020s. Sweely is an absolute savant when it comes to groove. This EP features four absolute tunes pulled straight out of his highly revered live hardware sets. It’s got that signature rubbery, infectious bass swing, snappy micro-house percussion, and an unmatched bouncy energy that makes any crowd completely lose it.

4. The Experience EP - Data Memory Access (2020)
Mood Waves
90s-Infused Minimal / Tech House / Progressive

Certified weapon for the early hours. The very record that put the in print on the map. A proper underground collectors piece. It’s got that slick, heavily rolling Italian baseline swing, spacey futuristic synth programming, and just enough acid squelch to turn a dark room inside out. The secret weapon if you want to lock a dance floor into a deep, hypnotic groove.

5. Nuances de Nuit, Vol. 5 EP - Various Artists (2020)
Nuacnes de Nu

What a way to close out the bank holiday! Smashed right through the extended hours. Pure vinyl + digital energy, sore limbs, and endless late-night chats with the crew. Huge shoutout to , KT , Ryan Jones , and Joel Williams for keeping the room shaking from start to finish, and the Sundays crew for bringing the vibes. Floorboards are cracked, turntable needles are bent, and we are on a slow road to recovery but it was all absolutely worth it! Until next time Sundays🫶

Summer is far from over in Hackney Wick. The heatwave might be gone, but we are keeping the temperature all the way up inside AMF.

Check our pinned September lineup and keep eyes on our stories for daily updates.
See you on the floor.

Honestly, where has this year gone and every year since covid gone? Anyways we move.

The usual suspects are all locked in for September: Taco Tuesdays with £5 Palomas, then Wednesdays are packed with Run Club, Open Decks, £5 pints & £5 margs. Thursdays bring our rotating crew of selectors for Record Store Lates, including FILMREHAB & Tii, Selective Hearing, Sonder (Vol. 3) and a special release launch TBA on the final Thursday, all paired with the well-oiled 2-4-1 cocktails.

Fridays and Saturdays are for late-night dancing. Sunday Sessions are there to gently bring you back down after a long weekend.

And yes, the terrace is still doing bits. Come grab a Dough Hands slice, smash a few of Manny’s tacos, soak up the sun and pretend September isn’t basically autumn. The sun won’t be here forever.

See you at the bar.

We took a dig through the archives to curate a list of wax inspired by this weekend, to get you into the groove, and get inspired. Swipe through to explore a heavy selection of foundational dance music, spanning raw UK garage classics, tape-saturated analogue dub, ultra-rare 90s speed garage, spacey NYC proto-boogie dubs, and futuristic atmospheric jungle.

Warren Doris - Lost In Space / Let It Show (1981)

Track: Let It Show (Dub)

Crate-digging gold. Utterly chaotic, spacey masterpiece of lo-fi studio experimentation. Straddling a unique timeline where gritty NYC port-boogie and raw cosmic reggae soul collide. This track specifically drops the needle straight into an echo chamber, leaving behind slow, hypnotic, sub-heavy bass groove.

Vintage, outer-space studio wizardry that commands total silence when the needle hits the wax.

Dave N.A. - Sky City EP (2026)

Track: Bloom Ft Hayk Karoo on the flute

Futuristic, leftlied atmospheric jungle. A beautifully executed bridge between machine-driven IDM rhythms and organic, ambient introspection. Tracks that lock down a stunningly heavy, melancholic 90s jungle foundation drenched in Burial-style vocal textures and lush, cinematic pads.

A landmark release for the modern breakbeat continuum. Do not sleep on these limited plates.

Noda & Wolfers - Tascam Space Season (2022)

Track: Supernatural Mixing Desk

Absolute analogue wizardry. Originally flying under the radar as a digital-only drop on Wolfers’ own Nightwind label, the heads at L.I.E.S. Records did the lord’s work by pressing this magnificent piece.

The record is drenched in a comforting mist of lo-fi tape saturation, custom-made analogue echo boxes, and dripping-wet delays.

Pure, unadulterated tape-saturated bliss.

Suburban Science - CoolThaMenta (2022)

Track: Fresh II Waves Mix

Pure, unadulterated UK Garage archaeology. One of 300 copies, signed by Karl ‘Tuff Snuff’ Brown of 2Tuf4U Records. A legendary time capsule resurrected for modern sound systems. Originally birthed in 1977, Mo’s Music Machine.

A relentless masterclass in groove control that belongs in every serious collector’s record bag.
