Next Tuesday we welcome the extraordinary musician Iain Ballamy to the East Side in Leytonstone for the first time. Since being in Loose Tubes Iain has been at the forefront of British jazz collaborating with an eclectic number of musicians including June Tabor , Hermeto Pascoal , Carla Bley ,Ian Shaw , Gordon Beck to name but a few . This evening he is joined by feted pianist Gareth Williams for an intimate set playing some of their own tunes plus others by the likes of Bill Evans. Should be a wonderful night .
