One little photoshoot in the park and hey presto, we have ourselves another month of beers 🍺 🍺 🍺

This box is infected. It’s got a huge bacterial infection and all the beer has turned sour - such a shame.

Luckily, some clever people at , and also added some yummy flavourings so they’ve all got a twist and tang going on.

Not sure which is our favourite yet, but damn they are pretty. Except for the grey one - this must be intentionally dull to make up for how bonkers fun the beer is to drink.

Exciting news! Our campaign to get government and UNESCO recognition for cask ale has hit the headlines with a story on page 11 of the Observer today!

It's a great piece that explains the reasons and approach we are taking and has already provided a big boost to our petition on the UK government website - which is just a few 100 short of 10,000 signatures, at which point the government will respond to our campaign.

Go sign it now! Link in bio and well... everywhere.

The Tragedy of Pac-Man and the Sour Beer

Once upon a time in a very hip taproom filled with people who said things like “I’m getting notes of fermented gooseberry and emotional trauma”, a beer was born. Not just any beer—no, this was a sour. A beer so tart it could pucker a marble.

The brewery, drunk on creativity (and probably lactic acid), decided to name it PAC-MAN Weisse.

Now, here’s where things got tragic.

Pac-Man, a creature raised on pellets and power-ups, had never tasted beer before. But he saw his face on the can and thought, “Finally, my time to shine. I am beer royalty.” He cracked it open, took one optimistic sip…

…and immediately saw all four ghosts at once.

“WHAT THE ACTUAL FRUIT-INFESTED FERMENTATION IS THIS?!” he screamed. “This tastes like lemon juice had an identity crisis and took it out on my tongue!”

He stumbled out of the taproom, questioning everything. Was he just a corporate mascot now? Was this beer even supposed to taste like regret and under-ripe rhubarb?

Meanwhile, inside, a bearded man in a beanie whispered to his friend, “If you swirl it counter-clockwise while listening to Fleetwood Mac, it really opens up.” Pac-Man vomited in a bush.

The moral of the story? Not every beer needs to taste like it was brewed in a haunted yogurt factory. And just because your name’s on the can doesn’t mean your mouth wants what’s inside it.

Game Over. Cheers

Are you a psychedelic butterfly 🦋?!?

Part of the Strong, Pale & Hoppy, and the Strong Mixed beer box Psychedelic Dragonfly -
IPA | 7.2% ABV

Azvex’s Psychedelic Dragonfly is a standout New England IPA, showcasing the bold, vibrant flavours that have come to define this popular style.

A hazy pour reveals a dense, cloud-like texture that promises an exciting mouthful. The beer is saturated with the hop power of Simcoe, Mosaic, and Motueka, resulting in a deep tropical fruit character with layers of citrus, tropical pineapple, and stone fruit.

The bitterness is soft and smooth, allowing the juicy hop flavours to take centre stage. Psychedelic Dragonfly balances its higher ABV well, offering both complexity and refreshment without the harsh finish that can sometimes accompany stronger IPAs.

: Motueka hops, used in Psychedelic Dragonfly, are a unique variety originating in New Zealand. Known for their distinctive lime and tropical fruit flavours, they are the perfect companion to the piney, earthy notes of Simcoe and the citrus-forward Mosaic hops.

Motueka is particularly prized for its clean bitterness and aromatic punch, which contribute to this IPA’s bold yet balanced flavour profile.

How are you?

Farm Yard’s Giddy Up Mountain IPA brings together the best of two IPA styles: the juicy, hop-forward character of a New England IPA with the crisp bitterness of a West Coast IPA.

At 5.3% ABV, this hybrid IPA is loaded with Citra and Mosaic hops, imparting a delightful mix of citrus and stone fruit flavours. The beer’s body is juicy and full, with a smooth mouthfeel that is complemented by the clean, crisp bitterness that lingers on the finish.

The combination of these two IPA styles results in a beer that is both refreshing and complex, with layers of fruitiness and a balancing bitterness that makes it perfect for hop lovers.

An iconic sweet 🍒,
Now being served as an iconoclastic drink 🍻

Sweet Shop - Fizzy Cherries Sour 4.7%

Vault City’s Sweet Shop – Fizzy Cherries Sour is a tangy and sweet beer that bursts with vibrant cherry flavours, offering a nostalgic taste experience.

At 4.7% ABV, this sour is light and refreshing, yet full of intense cherry fruitiness. The beer opens with a burst of juicy, tart cherries that dominate the palate, while a subtle fizziness adds to the fun, making it feel like a fizzy candy or soda.

The malt base is light, providing a smooth foundation for the fruit to shine without being too heavy. The balance between sweet and sour is expertly handled, allowing the cherry’s natural tartness to be countered by a gentle sweetness, leaving a clean, crisp finish that encourages another sip.

Big Jack DIPA 8.0%

Two Flints’ Big Jack DIPA is a full-bodied and intense beer that delivers an explosion of dank tropical flavours, with an ABV of 8.0%.

Using a blend of Nelson Sauvin, Clayton, Mosaic, and Spectrum hops, Big Jack offers a complex aroma profile of white wine, papaya, and overripe mango, underpinned by a subtle grassy and piney finish.

The combination of these hops gives the beer a tropical fruit-forward character that’s balanced by a mild bitterness, making it rich without being overwhelming.

The malt base supports the hops with a smooth backbone, ensuring that the intense hop flavours take centre stage without any distractions.
