We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Front of House Supervisor to help lead our front of house team and deliver excellent customer service. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the restaurant/pub and rooms, ensuring smooth service, high standards, and a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong leadership skills, a positive attitude, and experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising front of house staff during service
* Leading by example to deliver outstanding customer service
* Assisting with opening and closing procedures
* Managing bookings, walk-ins, and customer enquiries
* Supporting staff training and development
* Handling customer feedback and resolving issues professionally
* Ensuring cleanliness and presentation standards are maintained throughout the venue
* Monitoring staff performance and maintaining team morale
* Ensuring all health & safety and licensing regulations are followed
* Supporting the management team with daily operations and shift organisation
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in a supervisory or senior front of house role
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
* Knowledge of food, drinks, and hospitality service standards preferred

Reports To: General Manager / Duty Manager
Hours: Part-time including evenings and weekends
