After marketing our public house for two and a half years to try and keep the Brig operating at a pub with no interest, we’ve now made the decision to call “Last Orders” on the 31st December 2025.
Sadly this is an industry that has been hit very hard since Covid and is on a massive decline week on week and is no longer a viable business for us.
Running The Brig has been great for us as a family, however times are changing and we need to adapt and change for our family too.
During our time here, we have been so lucky to have had the best customers who have been with us through all the great times and the challenges. Thank you to each and every one of you that have supported us over the years!
Our team here at the Brig have been amazing. They all treat our business like it’s their own. That is a quality in people that is hard to find and we have been very lucky to have had them all be part of our team here and for understanding why we need to close. 🥰We wish them all the very best in the future Fiona, Chloe, Robyn, Tiegan and Natasha…what a team we have been. A special mention to Chloe and Fiona starting exciting new chapter’s in 2026.
The Brig will be staying as our family home and also will be the home of our new venture from early 2026 .
Unfortunately the Dogz have had to cancel on the 13th December. We do still have a couple of events on during December before we call time:
🎅 We will be holding our Christmas quiz on Thursday 11th December 7.30 for an 8pm start. 🎅
🎄 Bare Bonez will be playing in the Brig on the 28th December from 3pm 🎸 .
🎸 We couldn’t close without our very own Blanc playing us out on the 31st December from 3pm 🤘
