MERCI BEAUCOUP! 🇫🇷🙌

What a fantastic evening we had for our French Night! 🥂

The restaurant was fully booked, and we’d like to say a huge merci to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a lovely one. ❤️

Our guests enjoyed four courses inspired by French favourites, starting with a French Martini and flaky cheese twists, followed by dishes including baked Camembert, homemade chicken liver pâté, chicken fricassée and beef bourguignon, before finishing with tarte aux pommes and crème brûlée. 🇫🇷🍷

We absolutely loved seeing the restaurant full, everyone enjoying themselves and getting into the French spirit.

A little autumn update from The Angel Inn! 🍂

As the nights start drawing in and things get a little quieter, we’re moving to our autumn food serving hours. The pub will still be open every day as usual, so don’t panic… the pints aren’t going anywhere! 🍺😂

Our new food times are below 🧡 and they’ll change again when the Christmas madness (and parties!) begin! 🎄👀

🔨 We’ve also got some exciting news…
The Angel is getting a bit of a makeover this October, just in time for the festivities! There may be a little disruption along the way, but we promise it’ll be worth it. We can’t wait for you to see what we’ve got planned! 👀

Keep an eye out for our themed nights and events too, we have plenty in store over the next few months! 🎉🎸

We can also cater outside our usual food hours for funeral teas, parties and private gatherings, just give us a shout. ❤️

And as always, a huge thank you to our lovely locals and everyone who supports us. We’ve got an exciting few months ahead! ❤️

OOOOH LA LA… The French night menu is here… and this one is going to be magnifique! 🥖🍷🇫🇷

This is a tasting menu, so there’s no choosing between dishes, you get to taste EVERYTHING on the menu, served to share, enjoy and work your way through together! 😍

From French Martinis & flaky cheese twists, through to baked Camembert, homemade chicken liver pâté, chicken fricassée and beef bourguignon, finishing with tarte aux pommes AND crème brûlée… come hungry! 🤤

This is quickly becoming a Sunday ritual… but how could we not post the gorgeous Bertie & Bonnie, who joined us at the pub today! 🐾🤎

The perfect Sunday afternoon: a lovely walk with the dogs, followed by a stop at the pub for a proper Sunday dinner. 🍽️🍻

And seriously… aren’t these two just gorgeous?! 😍🐶

After having to cancel our live music earlier this month thanks to the bad weather, we’re very happy to say…. We aren’t leaving you waiting long…

Out of Order are returning to The Angel on Saturday 19th September from 7pm! 🎸🍻

These guys always bring a brilliant night, so save the date, round up your mates and let’s get ready to give them a proper LLANI WELCOME! 🖤🍻🎶

Wondering where we’re heading next on our Around the World Tour…

Next stop: FRANCE! Oui oui! 🥂🧀🥖🍇🇫🇷

Think cosy, comforting French classics made for sharing, indulgent desserts and a French Martini to kick things off, just as the evenings start to get a little cooler… what could be better?

Think baked Camembert to start, with an assortment of meats ready for dipping, followed by delicious French mains including Coq au Vin.

And for dessert? We’re thinking Crème Brûlée and Tarte aux Pommes. 😍

🌧️ Well… it looks like the weather is going to rain on our parade tomorrow! 🌧️

Sadly, due to the rain forecast, we’ve had to CANCEL tomorrow’s live music with the awesome Fundlewarp and the Lampshade Catchers. 😢🎶

We’re gutted, but we’re hoping to get them back to The Angel Inn soon! 🎸

But we’re not letting a bit of rain spoil the Bank Holiday weekend! 🍻☔

We’re still open as usual, with food served all day today and our delicious Sunday roasts tomorrow. 🍽️ And really, what better way to spend a wet Bank Holiday than getting settled into a nice, warm, dry pub with good food and a drink in hand? 🍺🔥

Rain or shine, the pub is open and the welcome is warm! ❤️

Bank Holiday Sunday is fast approaching… and we all know what that means… BAND ANNOUNCEMENT! 👀🍻 🎶

We wouldn’t let you see out the last of the summer Bank Holidays without an awesome Sunday set at The Angel!

This time we’re joined by the brilliantly named and seriously awesome folk-rock band Fundlewarp and the Lampshade Catchers! 🌼🎸

Expect a cracking evening of live music, good company and plenty of Bank Holiday fun!

So grab a friend, get yourselves down to The Angel Marquee and settle in for what promises to be another epic night of live music! ☀️

AND THESE INCREDIBLE WOMEN ARE OFF! 🚴‍♀️

What an awesome start to a Saturday in Llanidloes! 💚

They’ve now got a gruelling 138km ahead, taking on the spectacular Elan Valley and Cambrian Mountains, through Rhayader and Knighton, before finishing in Hay-on-Wye. 🚴‍♀️⛰️

The atmosphere in town was brilliant, with a fantastic crowd and a huge cheer as the race got underway. 👏

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who popped into The Angel for a coffee, cake, beer or breakfast bap. ☕🍰🍺🥓 We really appreciate your support and loved seeing the town buzzing!

What a morning and what an atmosphere! 💚
