⭐ A HUGE THANK YOU FROM EVERYONE OF OUR COMMUNITY AND SURROUNDING AREAS

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped identify those responsible for the recent incident by sharing our posts, coming forward with information and showing their support.

The outcome is the best we could have hoped for, and we have been truly overwhelmed by the kindness, encouragement and community spirit shown over the past few days. ❤️

Our focus now is firmly on getting The Star Inn back on track. We will be working tirelessly to ensure we OPEN AS PLANNED on Friday 6th November for our Soft Launch, followed by our GRAND OPENING on Saturday 7th November! 🍻🎉

A couple of individuals will not derail something that means so much to our community. If anything, the events of the past few days have shown just how strong our community really is.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to North Wales Police for their swift response and professionalism in dealing with this matter.

Llangollen, you've been absolutely incredible. We cannot thank you enough! ❤️

⭐ The Star Inn – Your Pub, Your Community. ⭐

Llangollen | Star Inn Burglary - update

Two people have been arrested in connection with the burglary offence at The Star inn, Llangollen. We are actively working with the Crown Prosecution Service around the next steps in this case, with a view of bringing this matter before the courts.

I know that the break in and damage caused to the Star Inn has generated significant concern and anger across Llangollen and the wider community. The team at The Star have worked extremely hard to bring the pub back to life for the community, and incidents of this nature have a huge impact on those who invest so much in our local businesses.

Llangollen is a strong and resilient community, and I'd like to personally thank everyone who has shared information and supported the investigation which has led to these arrests.

🤣 JUST TO CLEAR UP A LITTLE CONFUSION… 🤣

For anyone thinking of visiting The Star Inn…

🖥️ The server room – Unfortunately, nobody in there will be serving you a pint!

🌱 The plant room – Sorry to disappoint, but there's no exotic greenery growing in there either!

We're beginning to think our two uninvited visitors got their rooms a little mixed up! 🤦‍♂️😂

Next time, try the front door during opening hours! 🍺⭐

🍺 We have a fine selection of draught beers and spirits at The Star Inn! 🥃

Apparently, our selection is SO good that two individuals couldn't even wait until opening day to help themselves! 🤦‍♂️😂

Just a reminder, lads… we do accept cash and card! 💳

A massive THANK YOU to our wonderful community for all your help and support. ❤️

We know who they are, and the police are being informed.

🚨 BREAK-IN AT THE STAR INN, LLANGOLLEN – APPEAL FOR INFORMATION 🚨

Unfortunately, at around 9:30pm last night (Friday 16th October), two individuals decided to break into The Star Inn and cause significant damage to our premises.

Our front of house area has been badly damaged, with smashed glass, extensive water ingress and damage to the en-suite accommodation upstairs.

We are still assessing the full extent of the destruction, but initial estimates suggest between £15,000 and £20,000 worth of damage.

After all the hard work, time and investment that has gone into bringing The Star Inn back to life, this is absolutely heartbreaking and incredibly frustrating.

We are determined not to let the actions of two individuals undo everything we have worked towards.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

If anyone saw anything suspicious in the area around 9:30pm last night, or has any information that could help identify those responsible, please get in touch privately.

Any information received will be passed directly to the police to support their investigation.

We ask that nobody takes matters into their own hands.

The Star Inn is a community pub, and we won't let mindless vandalism defeat us.

Please share this post and help us find those responsible.

Thank you for your continued support.

The Star Inn Team ❤️

👏 A massive thank you to everyone working hard behind the scenes to get the Star Inn Llangollen ready.
