Good evening All....

It is with sad regret that we have to announce that our time here at Tafarn Bach has come to an end!
A few of our close family, locals and friends already know, but we needed to let our wider friends, Family & customers know too, that we. Sara & Tim will be leaving Tafarn Bach in the next week.

Unfortunately, The Current Pandemic has taken it's heavy toll on us; like many other trades and businesses throughout the country, we have found that the current situation has made our time here financially untenable....

Along with the issues of the Pandemic, when a close family member fell ill, which has resulted in them needing a lot of assistance,
it made good sense for us to fill that gap and move to assist.

We (Sara & Tim), have had three great years here at Tafarn Bach; we have created incredible memories with the help of all of our Customers and Friends....We have been welcomed into the Pontsian Community and have found and made some incredible friendships...some of which will now last a lifetime.

We have been reflecting over the past few weeks of all of the good memories and events and occasions we have had here; from the Big events like our Music Festival....(Damn! That was good ๐Ÿฅฐ ) .....to our monthly Bike Nights (The Biker Community of West Wales et al have been such a support...they are amazing people) ...To our Friday Night Musicians....(all we can say is WOW!!!!!!.....what an amazing crew ๐Ÿ™ )
But most of all.....Our Regular Locals.....they are and have been, incredible.....a cut above the rest by far, and without them, we would not have had three great years here at Tafarn Bach.

So, to end this little Swan Song of a post, we, Sara, Tim, would like to thank YOU ALL, for creating those lasting memories

UPDATE

So far the response from our regular local customers has been very positive with our measures of hand washing and sanitising before entry into the Cafe / Pub.
As our geographical location is very rural, we are at the heart of the Farming / Agricultural community, so Farmers and other rural workers still need to be fed as they go about their essential work to help feed the nation.
Also, as the Premises are also our home, it gives us peace of mind that people are taking the precautions seriously, it also gives all our customers peace of mind.

As before, the Pub is open for business this evening, and ALL customers who enter will have to go through the same procedure, if they are not comfortable with that process or do not carry out that basic process, then they will be asked to politely leave or be refused entry.

For obvious reasons, if you are showing signs or have symptoms of the Coronavirus and or a cough or cold symptoms, then we ask you politely and sensibly, to please refrain from coming......Stay safe people, and lets all hope we can find some small normality in such abnormal and worrying times.
Tim & Sara Tafarn Bach
