As usual we are open 3pm till late, Thursday to Sunday, alongside some amazing events 🥰

Today we have 'golden time' from brown sugar studio 6-10 📀 A nostalgic social space built around creativity, play, and community. Expect music, games, and activities designed to help you connect naturally. Free entry ❤️

On Friday we have Rongorongo down for their 'Push' single launch, alongside european taxis, ahead of their much anticipated debut album 'The Shell of a Lullaby' 🐚🛌 Really looking forward to this one, with a night of moody post punk stuff. Only £5, not one to miss! 🎸

Then Saturday we are open spinning our usual wide range of vinyl records, slinging boss pints, and 2 for £12 cocktail before 7pm 🍻

Closed on Sunday for a private party! Just let us know if you want to book in your own party with us 📩

Here we are, absolutely buzzing to announce european taxis as the support for the Rongorongo single launch ahead of their debut album "Shell Of A Lullaby" gonna be an unreal evening of music! 😍

European Taxis are a UK-based band formed in 2024 from the Liverpool alternative scene, described as playing a mix of cow-punk, drone, and pop. They are recognized for their energetic live performances, including playing on a docked boat at the Left of the Dial festival, and draw influence from bands like The Vaselines and Spacemen 3!

Friday we've got Ear2Ear & friends bringing their second installment of their intimate party series, sure to be an incredible night, first one was boss! This time bringing along Lazzzywax .igwiloh & tickets a steal at £3, we'll see you all on the dancefloor! 👂🎧🎉

Saturday we've got Mind•Ktrl back from a long break for an all day party, with a ridiculously good line up this is gonna be belter! 🤯 Sets from 4D .kirwan____ kathryn Lewis Claus Aly P get down early & stay late! 🧠✨

We're bringing you the next edition of our in house vinyl party series! A space for people bringing down their favourite records! 😍

We encourage you all to bring whatever you've got, EPs, LPs, 45s, 12" singles, deffo don't forget that B side you never get to play but always want to! Whether you want to play a set or just put on a record, this is the time and place! 🎉

Our resident drink slingers & will also be supplying you with records from their collections to keep the music spinning and the bevvies flowing! 🍻

Expect all sorts to be played, there's no rules on genres here! That's the beauty of it, a celebration of music in its most natural form! 🔥

Keep an eye out for our future parties as we'll be linking up with a bunch of incredible local collectives to share their sound purely in the physical format! 👀

We finally have Rongorongo back again ❤️ This time to launch the second single for their fabled debut album!

My favourite band, my wife's favourite band, your favourite band, everyone's favourite local band, not one to be missed. Rongorongo are a six-piece post-punk band from Liverpool. With an uncanny knack for ear tunnelling melodies, they build an escapist alternative from the doom of every day life 🎤🎸🎸🎸🎸🥁

With the first single 'No Sympathy' already out at the end of last month (check it out) and the full album out on the 4th of September we can't wait 👌

Friday we've got Horrid Fog to launch their brand new EP, expect folky psych rock with support coming from the wonderful singer songwriter Emma Miller gonna be an incredible night tickets have been flying out it's close to a sell out already! 🔮🎶

Saturday we've got back in for an all day party, this is gonna be belter! 🎉 Music from dandisgrace Trial Tapes & more, plus if you get down early enough there'll be a BBQ on the go! 😍✨

Hailing from Wirral, Merseyside, Liz has toured nationally with notable artists Midge Ure and Joan Armatrading and has had her music featured extensively across BBC Radio.

Passionate vocals with rhythmic, fingerstyle acoustic guitar playing, connect over spirited and skilfully crafted songs to help to make Liz Owen a unique and accomplished artist.

They are playing alongside and Albatross ❤️

One week to go till 'Commune Presents... Folk Night' as part of Everywhere At Once Festival x

Our second act is Ancient Hostility. They perform close harmony folk singing to tell vivid, poetic stories of resistance, vulnerability and sadness. Interspersed with minimalist instrumental soundscapes and drawing on the irreverence of the 60s folk revival, these are songs firmly rooted in the present.

Their debut album Sing As Loud As You Can is all lush three-part harmonies; Simon Barr and Ash Ludd are joined by Dandy for the recording process, together their voices explore new ways to keep our radical histories alive, spanning the stories of the Levellers and the Diggers to very recent accounts of direct action, proving that folk music is very much a living tradition. Emotional tellings of relationships ending or the death of friends are told in their signature way of finding new routes through difficult terrain, constantly breaking free of the constraints of conservatism.

The unflinching honesty of their lyrics has seen them captivate rooms full of anarcho punks as well as traditional folk clubs across the UK and mainland Europe. This is music for ordinary people who recognise the growing darkness but refuse to give up on the remaining light.

Tonight we've got the wonderful Master Of None Karman bringing the second installment of their event TOMB a place for lovers of all things Italo, Dark Disco, EBM, Industrial, Noise, & Techno, first one was amazing so pop down! 🦇✨

Friday we've got a jam packed gig with incredible bands, are back to headline! Their pot is well & truly back on the boil & ready to go, beautiful side dishes in the form of iCKLE serving up slacker rock & with a plate full of post rock & punk! 😍🔥

Saturday is time to celebrate as ourselves & studio picnic are throwing a joint Birthday Bash! An all day party of vinyl, live music, DJs, & food from our good friends at Guac 'n' Roll Kitchen featuring BLU BOY🇩🇲🇬🇧 The Bad Vibe Band poppy (po•pea) & performing throughout the day!🎈🎉

Sunday we'll be open from 3pm playing loads of in-house vinyl so pop down for a drink & take it easy! 🍻
