Did you know we have started a Neptune Running Club?

Twice a month on a Sunday at 1pm runners meet up.
The route is decided on the day, and all abilities are welcome whether you run 3K or 10K!
Upon return to the Beerhouse you are offered a complimentary drink 😊
A great opportunity to also socialise afterwards.

If you know any runners who'd be interested please let them know.
The next run Sundays are 1pm:

12th & 26th July
9th & 23rd August

What’s pouring this week?

New on cask we’ve Neptune Brewery’s collaboration with Thornbridge Brewery. A delicious Summer IPA, Peak to Pool.
Gentle citrus sweetness with tangerine and apricot balanced by a light, grassy bitterness that keeps things crisp and clean.

On the taps, Secret Beach Cali Pale is back after a year!
A double citrusy punch of orange and lemon sitting alongside an earthiness with notes of apple and a light lingering pine finish.

Also returning is Nelson Krush Double Dry Hopped Pale!
Gooseberry and white grape combined with tropical fruits and hints of orange peel with a light resinous finish.


Thursday it’s quiz time - always a fun night. Get yourself in handy to grab a seat. Join Quiz it Up for a 7.30pm start.

Another good day for our Neptune Beerhouse Runners on Sunday.
If you’d like to come along, our next run is 1pm Sunday 14/6.

All runs are Sunday by weekly with a 1pm start. We welcome all abilities. Route is discussed on the day.

Good news. It's pizza weekend 🙌🏼 Two Cents Pizza will be with us; Friday 4-8pm and Saturday 1-8pm
If you'd like dough saving please Dm her in plenty of time as she does get busy.
This week she is giving a few freebies away with your suggestion of 3 new pizza toppings, and will choose two favorites, so let her know. Don't miss out.

Cask this week Fontus is staying around for now with Hornby Gold and Venice Queen WC IPA waiting in the wings.

The taps have two new beers on! Partners in Lime. A collaboration brewed with Nightjar Brewery. A fresh and tangy, Key Lime Sour 🍋‍🟩
The Road to Eldorado American Pale with juicy pineapple, mango, and ripe pear, with hints of citrus zest and subtle resinous finish.
New Shores Extra Pale is on too.

Sunday is our second Neptune Run Club. No matter whether you’re a seasoned runner or newbie come along. Run starts at 1pm.�A free drink will be given on return. �

What’s coming up for Bank Holiday. Warm weather it seems 😎
We’ll have the chilled drinks and air con ready for you.

A few new beers to enjoy across the bank holiday.
On cask will be new beer Fontus, American IPA. Mango, peach and citrus notes with hints of orange and a resinous finish.

Over the weekend coming on will be another new beer, New Shores. An extra light pale ale with flavours of orange, lime and mango with a hint of coconut.

The fridge is full with a number of regular beers along with our latest, Harlequin Krush and new lime sour 🍋‍🟩A collaboration with Nightjar Brewery (out soon on draught 👀).

Diary date Two Cents Pizza is back 29/30 May with her awesome pizzas 🍕

We had our first Neptune Runners session on Sunday. Thanks to those who attended, such a lovely group ☺

The next run dates from the Beerhouse are noted below, the route will be advised on the day, distance will be anything from 5K upwards, however runners are expected to go at their own pace and distance. All abilities are welcome.
Upon return runners will be offered a free drink.

Sunday 28th June 1pm

Thank you to all who have shown an interest in our Sunday running club 😊
At present there is 1 captain who will set out the local route. We shall be joined by a second Captain at a later date who will set a route for those wanting to run longer distances.

All abilities are welcome, go at your own pace.
At present it will be held on a monthly basis, however if there is call for more sessions we shall increase them.

*Please note, runners must start and finish at the Beerhouse for the free drink offfer.*
We are certain you'll be needing something to quench your thirst on return!

We do hope this will form a community run for like minded people to get together and socialise too 😀

Now on to what's pouring this week 🍺
NEW on the taps - Secret Galaxy will be on over the weekend.
An Australian Hopped Pale with flavours of sun ripened pineapple, peach and passion fruit lifted by fresh grapefruit notes finishing with a resinous pine bite.
Burton Haze, a light hazy pale will also be pouring.

Cask - Salthouse Blonde returns, with Ventura Tropical IPA to come on.

As we’re sure you’ve seen in the news, things are getting harder for hospitality and breweries due to the tough environment, so your support is always much appreciated! 😊

What’s pouring?
Well we are celebrating ‘Mild May’ with Selkie Dark Mild on cask. Delicious flavours of hazelnuts, chocolate and plums.
Takoa, New Zealand Session IPA is also on the line up.

The taps see the return of Harlequin Krush!
This beer flew out first time on with its delicious big tropical and citrus flavours.
It’s also now available in cans 👏🏼

Tonight it’s Quiz it Up with Helen, always a fun night.

Thanks to those who attended our Nana Funk evening. What a great night of laughs. A return visit is on the cards.

Sunny days call for refreshing beers, and we’ve a great mix pouring across this Bank Holiday weekend.

On the taps we’ve 3 styles of Lager, Pales, Sours and IPA’s.
The cask lines see a Blonde, Pale, IPA and we’re continuing with new beer Scuba.

As much as we’re called the ‘Beerhouse’, with 12 beer lines, you’d be forgiven for thinking that’s all we sell.
However we do have other drinks available….

In the fridge we have various cans, plus none alcoholic beer, sparkling ciders, including a new one with Blackberry fruit.

Red, Orange, Rosè and White Wines are stocked along with Prosecco.
And finally, if spirits are your thing, we stock a number of gins, rums and vodka.

Our monthly quiz night is on Thursday 7th of May we hope you’ll join Quiz it Up.

Finally - If you’re after a Neptune fix on BH Monday, join us at Maghull Cricket Club as we shall be celebrating their Centenary with our bar at the grounds. Food also available.
