From the bottom of our hearts, would like to thank everyone who‘s been a part of this wonderful venue over the last 8years, our beloved regulars, casual customers, all our entertainers, past and present staff. It has been an ABSOLUTE HONOUR to have something we feel was special, in our little corner of
We will be open until Wednesday but this last weekend was one that we will remember for a long time!!

Right, now that you all have had the time to process the news, it’s time to go out with a bang and celebrate all things TavernOTG!
We would like to invite all past and present loyal customers for one final weekend to raise a glass to the great times we all had in our venue!

So tomorrow, Saturday the 23rd, put your dancing shoes on and come see us for our last weekend. All your favourite staff will be there banging out your favourite drinks all night until late.

*Important news* As we come up to our 8th birthday party for the Tavern we have an announcement to make to our beautiful Taverners who have supported and enjoyed our perfect little corner of L1 making it such a pleasure for us to manage and for you to hang out in. We have been in negotiations around the lease with L1 for some time but have been unable to reach an agreement…which means that unfortunately we will have to close our doors for the final time Wednesday 27th June. Yes, we’re really sorry but that’s 2 weeks time. No hard feelings, we’ve had a good relationship with L1 and we wish them well with their plans for the future with that spot. Watch this space for a helluva farewell party which we’re going to hold for all of you to thank you for being on the journey with us over these last 8 years.

But wipe away those tears! All is not lost! We have a surprise waiting in the wings we’ve been sitting on for a while…we are in advanced negotiations for a NEW Tavern On The Green at an amazing location in the City which we hope to announce in the coming days which we are incredibly excited about and as soon as the ink is dry on the contracts we will reveal all.

So let’s keep our heads here, it’s not going to be goodbye, it’s just a see you in a bit. Not for too long. And in a nice new house. With boss neighbours.

Tomorrow!!!

If you're joining us tomorrow for our Jonny Bongo Take Over, there's a few things you need to know:

1. Meet INSIDE Tavern on the Green - Liverpool One 15 mins BEFORE your Adventure is due to start! If you're late, we won't wait.

2. You'll be on the move for about an hour, so wear comfortable shoes and please don't bring huge bags, suitcases, massive coats, your shopping etc.

3. As we're snaking through the streets, without stops, make sure you've used the toilet before hand.

4. Get ready to throw your inhibitions in the bin and have the time of your life!
