DJ SESSIONS - THE OYE VIBE

We're back for the next instalment of our mix series, in association with Bido Lito! and Melodic Distraction Radio.

A slice of the trademark Oyé vibe that you can enjoy over and over again.

Our third mix comes from adopted Scouser GIOVANNA (SisBis), who threw down a blend of high tempo Afrobeat, highlife and house during her 60-minute set on the Trenchtown stage at our 2019 festival.

Fast rising Italo-Scouse selector Giovanna is part of the SisBis collective in Liverpool, and known for serving up a heady brew of Brazilian, soul, house, electro and synth-pop, which she also showcases on her own monthly NTS Radio show.

Recorded at Africa Oyé 2019, each mix is part of a series of DJ sessions from the Trenchtown and Freetown stages, whuch featur DJs who keep the sounds of the African diaspora alive all year round.
