🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM THE POSTIE! 🚨

After years of dedication to the pub, Norman has finally announced he’s expecting… probably another b**r belly. 😂

A few things you should know about our resident pensioner:

🍺 Speed of service: It takes Norman half an hour to make ONE drink. You’ll have finished your night out before he’s finished pouring your pint.

🍸 Cocktail menu: Ask Norman for a cocktail and you’ll be told to f**k off. We don’t make the rules. 💀

🦖 Age: Older than the pyramids. Archaeologists have been trying to carbon-date him for years.

🤰 Current status: Expecting… we’re just not sure whether it’s a baby or the consequences of 40 years of pub lunches.

Please join us in congratulating Norman on his pregnancy. Maternity leave pending, although knowing him, he’ll still be serving that same drink when he gets back.

Little postie mention there 🙌🙌 thanks to everyone who helped us raise £700

A teenage Blues fan did the Everton 10k for charity in a wheelchair after breaking his ankle the night before the run!🏅💙

Richard Duggan was gutted when he came off his bike less than 24hours before the race, which starts and finishes at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

But despite being unable to walk, never mind run, the 16-year-old was determined to go ahead so he could collect the sponsorship money he’d raised for Everton in the Community.

So instead of running the 10k along the waterfront and back, he was pushed by two schoolmates from Alsop, Tom and Cian … and then crossed the finish line on his crutches!

Bravo lads! 👏

After 21 years as landlord of the Poste House, it’s time to say farewell to Mike Jones.

For those who don’t know him, Mike has been the man behind the Postie for the last fifth of a century — and thanks to him, the pub is certainly the place it is today.

What happens next?

Well… you’ll have to wait and see. 👀

But one thing’s for certain…
