Morning
This Saturday I’ll be heading over to Liverpool, a city famous around the world for its music, maritime heritage, incredible architecture and, of course, The Beatles. With its historic docks, grand Victorian buildings and a fantastic pub scene, there’s always plenty more to discover.
I’ve got a full day planned, combining a bit of Liverpool history with a good selection of pubs. I’ll be calling into the Ship & Mitre and Roscoe Head before heading over to Edge Hill to visit the fascinating Williamson’s Tunnels. From there I’ll continue around the city with visits planned to The Belvedere, The Bridewell, Dead Crafty, Denbigh Castle and Ye Hole in Ye Wall.
It should be a cracking day exploring some very different Liverpool pubs, with a bit of local history thrown in along the way and hopefully plenty of good beer too.
If I’m planning to pop in and visit you, I’d really appreciate a share of this post — and if you see me out and about, feel free to come and say hello! 🍻
