Old Kings - Out Of The Smoke: Scotland. We took a socially distanced trip out of the city to the Scottish countryside as an excuse to BBQ and come up with cocktails. This is the Secret A-Pear. Amanda's under wraps 7 day rye whiskey and pear infusion cocktail. Don't worry, it's being well taken care of.

I've been dreaming of a way to do almost mangal style cooking but with veg. Sacrilege I know but I'm convinced it could be soooo good. Imagine cooking on a proper wood charcoal grill. Filthy handheld smoky veg served with cold crisp bevs. I've had a glass or two. Byee.⁣

Sandwich Week - Final Day 5: The Just Cuz. The Cuzzetiello is a Neapolitan cult sandwich. The hollowed out heel of a rustic cafone loaf is stuffed with meat or veg or both. We made a slow cooked Ragu and Beyond meat meatball and a garlic grilled tenderstem, spicy sausage and melted epic mature cheese sauce. Why this sandwich isn't a takeaway staple around the world beats US.

Sandwich Week - Day 3: The Whole Lotto Love. Sau Voi Corp, a little Vietnamese bodega that sold K-pop cassettes, lottery tickets, ci******es also sold the best banh mi sandwich you could find in Manhattan. This is our tribute with BBQ grilled king oyster mushrooms, pickled carrots, mint, coriander, spicy peanut mayo and crumbled rice cakes, in a home baked baguette.

Sandwich Week - Day 1: The One On The Right Bagel. Our homage to the better Brick Lane salt beef bagel. We miss it. So we made a gluten free seitan (!) version with a burnt BBQ crust, pickles and of course - lashings of hot mustard.
