The Ladle - The Beginning

Launched 2019.

Opening a local food and drink place was always a dream for local West Derby lad Michael so it was deemed fate when the opportunity to make the dream a reality presented itself. The coffee shop & bistro opened early 2019 as ‘It’s All Gravy’ but it wasn't long until it was decided to rebrand to suit the relaxed bar and food offering that it has evolved in to, named ‘The Ladle’.

The Ladle is open Wednesday - Sunday serving up a varied hot drinks, brunch & lunch menu before the evening & bar menu kicks in.

There is always a welcoming vibe which is predominately ran by family & friends who want to offer something a lit bit different to West Derby Village & it’s community. They are DOG FRIENDLY welcoming well behaved dogs inside to relax with their owners by the fireplace and there’s even dog treats and water bowls to keep your pooches fed and watered whilst you’re there. They really have thought of everything!
