We are able to open to our customers only if you are visiting to have a “substantial meal”. We have a limited weekday menu that we are sure you will enjoy. However we are still providing a full mouthwatering Sunday lunch each weekend which has proved hugely popular. Please book your Sunday lunch and remember that we need to comply with all current covid legislation so it’s same households only at each socially distanced table. See you soon Lil and Dave

The Brunel is no more. Sadly the pub was sold and will not operate as a pub anymore.

We are all set to welcome you back to The Brunel. Initially from 12th April we can open and provide table service to outdoor areas only. We have repositioned some tables and fingers crossed with a bit of decent weather we can start to enjoy your company again. We have some heating in the rear area of The Brunel and there is a TV that you can catch up on sporting events.
It’s not ideal but consider it a stepping stone to getting back to some kind of normality. In this interim period we will be open from 1pm until (last orders) 9pm.

We are open Wednesday to Sunday. We are fully covid compliant, your health, safety and welfare are important to us. If you fancy something to eat and a couple of drinks call in and see us. You will always be very welcome.

We are back and want to see all our customers again. Under the current regulations (Tier 2) we are allowed to open as we have a functioning kitchen and we serve food. Why not call in for some good tasty food and a couple of drinks. We are operating table service and ask that all our customers observe current govt guidance with regard to social distancing and face coverings etc.
We are fully compliant with all regulations, your safety and well-being are important to us.

Well, Liverpool is top of the league again but this time we don’t want it. We are trying to find a way that we can still provide a safe and friendly service to all our loyal customers but this means we need to comply with COVID-19 regs.
Please be assured that The Brunel will fully comply with all Govt guidance as your safety is our number one priority.
We are hopeful that we will be able to provide all of our customers a safe and compliant service all be it with a few required amendments to our opening conditions in the next few weeks.

In the interests of safety and to protect all of our customers we are closing for one day to thoroughly cleanse all areas of The Brunel. We want you to continue to enjoy this establishment and that means we must do our part to make it as safe and comfortable as possible during these unprecedented times.
We aim to reopen the Pub on Saturday at approximately 2 pm.
Stay safe everybody and please maintain the social distancing guidelines when you next call in for a drink.

From this Thursday 6 August we are opening the kitchen and serving delicious bar snacks as well as full plated meals. From Sunday we are doing mouth watering roast Sunday lunch. Two for £10.00!!! Come on, forget about the washing up!

We had a few probs with coolers but all sorted now. Beer nice and cold now. We are back open and fully compliant with all COVID regs. Come and enjoy a pint and feel safe and welcome!
