This isn’t just September specials.

This is slow-braised ox cheek, cooked overnight until it falls apart, with creamy champ mash, red w**e & shallot gravy and roasted vegetables.

This is prosciutto-wrapped chicken ballotine with shallot & tarragon stuffing, charred corn purée, hasselback potatoes and chicken jus.

This is classic Italian Fritto Misto — squid, king prawns, haddock and seabass, lightly breaded and served with fries, salad and lemon aioli.

…….before any of the mains the treacle brisket nuggets are VERY naughty!!!

…And to finish… triple chocolate mousse. Dark chocolate. Milk chocolate. White chocolate. Amaretti crumb.

Paul’s proper rag pudding, roasties, veg, all the trimmings and absolutely loads of gravy….the most Northern Sunday dinner we could possibly come up with.

You certainly got your ‘claws’ into those tables quickly (sorry), our Lobster Supper Club is now completely full for the evening.

We’re absolutely thrilled by the incredible response and would like to thank everyone who booked. We can’t wait to welcome you for a truly special evening & something completely different for us up here at The Moorcock.

Crack into something special this September. 🦞🦪

Join us on Friday 25th September for our first Lobster Supper Club - a beautifully curated evening of fresh seafood & indulgent dishes on Blackstone Edge.

Begin with your choice of fresh oysters or lobster roll sliders, followed by either a full Lobster Thermidor or 16oz Chateaubriand to share.

Places are strictly limited, and we expect this evening to fill up extremely quickly. Due to the nature of the specially prepared menu, a £15 per person deposit is required to secure your reservation.

The experience includes a bottle of w**e between two, or a choice of draught b**r & soft drinks.

£50 per person, bookings from 6:30pm onwards
