Well done to all our members of Bridgend FootGolf Club who battled through intense heat, sickness and injuries to complete their FIFG FootGolf World Championship. We are proud of them all.
The Ladies captained by our very own Sheila Strickland finished in 10th position after their playoff match v 🇺🇸. This match seen Sheila pair up with Anna Anderson in the foursome tie which they went on to win. But lost the match 2-1 to 🇺🇸.
The Seniors finished their competition on a high with a win in the playoff match v 🇨🇱 to finish 21st overall.
Our Men went on to finish in 5th position with a victory v the auld enemy 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. An amazing finish by all our players throughout this World Cup. We’re proud of you all.
