Last week was Volunteer Week, and we couldn’t let it pass without celebrating the incredible people who give their time, energy, and support to Birch Tree Cafe.

We are lucky to have 20 fantastic volunteers who help us in so many ways. From supporting the day-to-day running of the café, gardening, and cleaning our windows, to helping our team members with activities such as workshops, cooking sessions, and games, their contribution makes a real difference every single day.

Your kindness, dedication, and enthusiasm help make Birch Tree Cafe the welcoming and supportive community it is. We are so grateful for everything you do. 💚

A special note to the followers of the Raucious Collective followers.

First of all many thanks for your great demeanour and behaviour on Saturday you were a pleasure to serve at the bar, again many thanks.

Now for the sad news due to complaints from several people primarily Jo and Paul Bycroft from the Pessimist gin bar, we are no longer able to provide you with a venue for your fantastic show.

So my sincere apologies for this sad news,

But hopefully you are allowed to enjoy your music at a venue that would welcome you as much as we have.

So after an interesting evening last night, truly great people polite no nonsense great customers, left the place in fantastic condition.

Today we move onto the Dandy Soulers, yet more fantastic people that support The Dandy Lion all the fun starts at 1pm.
