The Kings Head, Tealby will be closing 21st September and reopening on 28th September for renovation works. Exciting times ahead!

Sorry for any inconvenience but your village pub will be getting a whole new look! (It won't be painted green outside.. don't worry 🤣)

After 14.5 wonderful years, the time has come for a new chapter at The Kings Head in Tealby.

It is with great happiness that we announce that Mr Thomas Wigg, a very familiar face to many, will be leading the next chapter of our beautiful village pub/restaurant. We truly couldn't have wished for anybody better to continue the legacy, values, and warm hospitality that we have built together over the years.

From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank each and every one of our loyal customers over the many years. Your loyalty, support, encouragement, laughter, and friendships have meant more to us than words can ever express. You have been so much more than customers—you have become part of the Kings Head family, and we will treasure those memories forever.

A very special thank you goes to Thomas & our entire team, past & present, whose unwavering loyalty, dedication, and hard work have helped us build and nurture The Kings Head over the past years. We are truly grateful for everything you have all done. An extended thank you to Mom (Jayne) & David for their help & support over the years. I’m sure you will still see them around.

As one chapter closes, another beautiful one begins. We kindly ask that you continue to Support The Kings Head with the same warmth that you have always shown us.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives over these 14.5 wonderful years. It has been one of the greatest privileges to meet so many wonderful people.

Our last day of trading will be Sunday 26th July. The site will close until Thursday 30th under new management.

It’s a heartfelt goodbye from us & it’s been a great pleasure.
