Day Two & things are starting to come together!

Our brilliant Chef Bex has been busy seeing in deliveries, getting everything ready for Thursday & thinking about some delicious daily specials. We can’t wait to get cooking!

Away from the Kitchen, we’ve been getting the Pub ready & adding a few little touches that we love- including our new dog bowls & treats & our new blackboard ready for the Specials.

And just when we needed it most, Gem’s Mum popped in with Cake!

It’s all starting to feel real now, & we’ve even more excited about re-opening on Thursday!

A little hello from the new faces in the Pub…..

We’re delighted to introduce ourselves- Gem & Andy- two friends who have taken the plunge & are buying the Generous Briton!

Firstly, we’d like to say a huge thank you to Jane & John for everything they’ve done, building a brilliant reputation for great food, good service & making the Pub a real part of the Village. We’re very grateful to be taking over from them!

We look to build on all the good things already here, keep the great food & service & make the Pub a warm, welcoming place for everyone in the Village & beyond.

After making a few tweaks, we’re re-opening this Thursday at 12noon & look forward to meeting you all, hearing what you love about the Pub & becoming part of this lovely Village.

See you soon!

Gem & Andy
