Tonight at The Village Inn. We have the rhythm & blues live players for their monthly gig. So if you fancy a cool pint or glass of w**e whilst hearing some excellent free live music, kitchen open till 8pm for food if you don't want to cook in the heat.

A few of our new menu meals served today at lunchtime, from outside eating with a nice filled ciabatta and salad or a meal in our refurbished restaurant with mushroom on toast starter or halloumi fries, mains of steak or surf n turf, or a classic gammon eggs & chips. With a choice for all inc gluten free, dairy free and veggie or vegan. Kids meals, we love to cater for all, all day. Come and relax with a drink and a selection from our menu. Fished off with a dessert, choc millionaire style tart or traditional apple crumble you decide.

Today we had a special visitor, Pete from Blackcountry Ale Tairsters.

Pete has visited 24,638 pubs with The Village Inn at Liddington being the 24,640th pub on his journey around the UK.

He's been doing this incredible feat since 1984, averaging 11 pubs per week for four decades, a raising over £35,000 for charity along the way.

Pete's aim is to visit every pub in the UK, and with around 44,000 pubs in total, he's got a good chunk of his journey left.
